There is so much to like about 2021 Tundra 1794 Edition. Learn key reasons you just might want to buy one.
While we wait for news about the next-generation 2022 Tundra to be released, we should also focus on some great Tundra grades for 2021 too.
Like the Tundra 1794 Edition.
I recently had the opportunity to spend a week with this very unique Toyota Tundra. It was full of pleasant surprises.
Tundra ride comfort
Normally when you drive a full-size truck, you know to expect that truck-like feel. Hopefully, you know what I mean by this statement.
When you drive a 2021 Tundra 1794 Edition, though, you may be surprised by the shockingly smooth ride.
Perhaps this is due to Tundra’s trusty 5.7-liter V8 engine (381 horsepower and 401 lb.-ft. torque) with dual independent variable valve timing with intelligence (VVT-i).
My family rode with me many times during this evaluation, and they were all amazed by how smooth it rode both in the front and back seats.
Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition accelerates well from zero to highway cruising speeds and it does it with power when needed.
I never found a time when I did not feel in control of my test Tundra, even on curvier and winding country roads.
Towing capacity is 9,400 pounds for 4x2 and 8,800 pounds for 4x4.
Toyota Tundra 1794 interior features
The 1794 grade comes loaded with many practical and convenient features.
But it is the interior design and color scheme itself that will turn heads and create a powerful first impression.
Saddle brown is the first thing you see when you step inside the expansive interior cabin. I did choose the word expansive correctly here. Rear seat passengers have an incredible 42.3 inches of leg room. I joke that a person could potentially live in the back seat. It really is that big.
I found these saddle brown leather seats to be very comfortable, offering 12-way and 6-way power driver and passenger seats. Front seats are both heated and ventilated.
Thigh and lumbar support for driver seat were welcome additions and will surely help solidify comfort on even the longest road trips.
I am already a fan of JBL audio systems from my long background with Toyota. Tundra 1794 Edition comes standard with 12 JBL speakers (with subwoofer and amplifier), along with dynamic navigation.
All 2021 Toyota Tundra trucks feature standard Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, and SiriusXM.
2021 Tundra 1794 Edition price
Luxury is equivalent to luxury.
What I mean is that the two most luxurious 2021 Toyota Tundra trim levels are Platinum and 1794 Edition. It may come as no surprise then that both grades have the same exact factory MSRP.
Both Tundra Platinum 4x2 and 1794 Edition 4x2 start at $49,045. Each one jumps up to factory pricing of $52,095 for 4x4.

1794 Edition Tundra is equally equipped with features, but it comes with an entirely different ambiance and vibe than Platinum.
The question is, which one is your preferred Tundra?
Luxury Tundra exterior styling
Typically, the appearance of multiple chrome accents is indicative of something luxurious. No surprise here that Tundra front grille is comprised almost entirely of chrome.
Safety features that will surely lessen the risk of accidents both on the road and in parking lots include Toyota Safety Sense and front and rear parking sensors.
I think Toyota chose a great wheel choice with its 20” 6-spoke wheels. They look nice and complement the many chrome accents well.
Time for your Toyota Tundra comments
Thanks for reading everyone.
To me, Tundra 1794 Edition is absolutely worth a look.
The only drawback to me is also the main reason why you would buy one. Buyers only have one interior seat color choice, which is saddle brown. But getting saddle brown seats with wood grain accents is exactly why you would want 1794.
Do you own a Toyota Tundra, and if so, how many miles do you have and how have you liked it?
Are you a fan of 1794 Edition styling? Do you already own one and how is it so far? Also, would you consider purchasing one.

We are totally in love with
We are totally in love with our 2021 -1794 edition Tundra in Smoked Mesquite. We usually pick vehicles for performance, reliability and practicality but we decided to splurge and this time also get luxury. Looks and performs great whether we are out in the woods camping or out on the town for date night! So roomy and comfy and just gorgeous!
I own at 2017 1794. Awesome
I own at 2017 1794. Awesome in every way. Looks great, drives great and is super comfy.
I bought a 2019 1794 (white)
I bought a 2019 1794 (white) and loved it. 18 mos. later I smashed it a good bit when I reversed forgetting that I had a trailer hooked to it. I went to dealership and they paid me exactly what I paid for it 20k miles earlier and I left with a new 1794 (mesquite brown) love this one too. It looks black in dim light and is equally difficult to keep clean as a black one. Truly stunning when the metallic paint is very clean. Now with 15k miles I would truly like to trade it for a white one again. The only one I can find is halfway across the country. Thought about trading for a gm product like the dozen or so trucks before Toyota but can’t go back. Love the 1794 tundra that much. Prefer to stick to o my gas guzzling v-8 and I believe new tundras will be 6 cylinders… plan to keep this one for a good while I think… Great truck. I love the extra safety features and overall comfort.!!
