Today we get out first look at the refreshed interior of the 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro. You will really like how it looks.
Many fans and followers and enthusiasts have been waiting patiently to see the refreshed 2020 Toyota 4Runner. Fortunately, the 2020 model year 4Runners should be reaching dealerships in the month of September. Our wait is just about over.
2020 4Runner gets updates
I got my first look at both the exterior and interior for the 2020 4Runner TRD Pro in the all-new exclusive Army Green color. It looks fantastic to put it mildly, and I think previous, current and future 4Runner owners will really like it.
The outside looks slightly changed, with the addition of radar technology in the front grille to accommodate Toyota Safety Sense active safety features, standard for the first time ever on all 4Runner trim levels.
Inside the cabin, though, you will find quite a few pleasant updates and upgrades to provide additional convenience, especially with technology.
Multimedia screen changes to the 2020 4Runner
The multimedia section of the 4Runner receives a fresh, modern look. First, drivers will really appreciate the 8-inch touch screen that replaces the previous 6.1-inch screen seen on the 2019 4Runner. The screen always seemed small to me compared to the wide, spacious interior. I certainly welcome this change.
Technology buffs will be able to enjoy the popular applications Android Auto and Apple CarPlay across the board in the 2020 4Runner. Android Auto will first come to the 2020 Tundra, followed closely by the 2020 Sequoia, 2020 Camry and 2020 Tacoma.
Push Button Start in 4Runner
When I first saw that familiar push button in the 2020 TRD Pro, I almost could not believe my eyes. I am so used to using a traditional key when starting TRD Pro. This is an incredible and highly convenient update.
In a move similar to the newest popular Toyota Camry and Corolla and RAV4 models, 4Runner engineers have added lane departure alert and dynamic radar cruise control buttons to the steering wheels. This will help lessen distractions for drivers, while also making it really easy to set and change your safety settings while you drive.
For families with regular back seat passengers, help is on the way. The 2020 4Runner now has 2 standard USB ports in the second row behind the center console for charging and staying connected technologically.

I'm still waiting for a
I'm still waiting for a Cummins diesel engine to be put in the 4Runner with a 8 or 10 speed transmission and a snorkel with dual CB Radio antennas . And of course the army green color .
Can I have a 6 speed REAL
Can I have a 6 speed REAL manual transmission please to actually have FULL control over my traanny , rather than paddles that override me, unnecessarily?!
I love the big knobs in 4
I love the big knobs in 4 runners people who dis this have never tried to adjust something in a bumpy road or at at a 30 degree angle. Its all designed to be 4 wheel friendly with out having to look.
I was so excited to see the
I was so excited to see the safety features being added. Then I realized that blind spot monitoring will still not be included. You would think that is a basic feature that also would have been added.
i HATE push botton start!!
i HATE push botton start!! how are you suppossed to start the vehicle if the button fails??
Looks good. I'll be getting
Looks good. I'll be getting black though. If it only had blind spot monitors I'd be happy. I'd forego the adaptive cruise and lane departure crap for that.
The horsepower to torque
The horsepower to torque ratio is disappointing. I own a 2004 4Runner V8 Limited that provides 235 how and 320 lb-ft of torque, pulling 2,300 more pounds than the current model. That being said, I'd like to see the same ratio in a redone version of the tried and true 4.7 liter engine- 270 hp and and 365 ft-lb. That would equate to a 8,400 lb towing capacity. The mpg difference is one mile per gallon, in the present comparison, and can be tweaked to maintain or surpass the same. In the same token, a diesel engine of the same quality as the 4.7 without losing horsepower, but pushing up to 315 hp and 495 lb-ft would be beautiful and provide better fuel economy.
I have a 2005 Toyota 4runner
I have a 2005 Toyota 4runner bought it new it is without a doubt the best vehicle I have ever owned and I am looking forward to getting another 4Runner however I'm not very fond of the current model styling especially the SR5 front headlights I don't get the vertical slits I don't know it's butt ass ugly I hope that there will be changes to the current front styling
I don't know about all that
I don't know about all that but ipurchased a Beautiful 2000 4runner SR5 Forest Green 4x4 in I love it n have had soany praises on its looks n performance. Thank youToyota
Dual air temp is a big deal
Dual air temp is a big deal for me, but only available on certain models. Then color is limited on certain models. I like super white on the limited but only comes in the pearl white. Currently own (2) tacoma limited pickups(
( 2019's.) Would love a 4 runner in white, black leather, heated power seats, dual air, and blind spot/lane depart pkg. I know it's not like the old days where you could order whatever you want, but hey its my money and it would be nice to be able to mix features from several models. Also on the 2019 TACOMA limited I noticed that the sto rage compartment in the bed on drivers side not available. May check w/dealer or custom shop on that one. That larger compartment on my friends 2016Tacoma bed is really handy for straps or bungee cords.
Instead of worrying about
Instead of worrying about backseat USB chargers, they should do something about the ventilation. Two little vents in the console are worthless. Children in carseats either freeze or sweat. Terrible design. And I’m a huge Toyota fan.
