Help your 2023 Toyota Sequoia research with my thorough trim level comparison.
All 5 trim levels of 2023 Sequoia. Together at one time.
This is quite a rare occurrence, especially since Sequoia just made its world debut earlier this year. Sequoia is scheduled arrive at dealerships sometime this fall.
But I was able to review them together side-by-side for you.
2023 Toyota Sequoia Trim Levels
All-new Toyota Sequoia is available in five trim levels – SR5, Limited, Platinum, Capstone, and TRD Pro.
Pricing has been announced and is as follows: 2023 Sequoia SR5 starts at $58,300, Limited begins at $64,700, Platinum at $70,900, Capstone at $75,300, and TRD Pro MSRP is $76,900.
2023 Toyota Sequoia Review Video
I would like to suggest my “ToyotaJeff Reviews” YouTube channel as a valuable place to research Toyota vehicles, including 2023 Sequoia.
I have compiled over 1,000 Toyota review, comparison, and how-to videos that should either help you research your upcoming purchases or can help you learn more about the Toyota vehicles you already own.
My Sequoia 2023 trim level comparison video is the first of its kind. I lined up all five trim levels and discussed similarities and differences, both on the exterior and the interior.
I hope you find this video helpful in your research and it assists you in determining what Sequoia trim levels you like best, and what one you might consider purchasing.
2023 Sequoia Engine
All 2023 Toyota Sequoia trims are built with standard i-FORCE MAX engines. In other words, they are all Sequoia Hybrid vehicles.
Look for a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged engine combined with electric motor power. This produces 437 horsepower and a whopping 583 lb.-ft. torque.
This is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
My 2023 Sequoia Driving Impressions
I was fortunate to test drive both 2023 Sequoia SR5 and 2023 Sequoia TRD Pro for about one hour each on city streets, country roads, and on the highway.
My Sequoia test drive found it to be smooth and comfortable, both at lower speeds and at highway cruising speeds.
Acceleration was very good from a stopped position and when speeding up from around 45mph to over 70mph.
The interior cabin is modernized and spacious. Look for big improvements in safety, technology, and overall features. The additions of Toyota Audio Multimedia, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wireless Android Auto are particularly appealing to me.

I’m intrigued by the basic
I’m intrigued by the basic SR5 trim but would want synthetic leather seats and the off road package. I wonder if those options are upgradable with that trim?
