2023 Toyota RAV4 brings big updates and improvements. See them displayed at night.
This was a solid year of changes, updates, and improvements for many popular Toyota models.
Toyota Venza received important upgrades. The 2023 Highlander got itself a new turbo engine with more power and additional features too.
And Toyota RAV4, RAV4 Hybrid, and RAV4 Prime landed some key updates as well.
I recently had the opportunity to evaluate a 2023 RAV4 Hybrid XSE for an extended period of time. This was the perfect chance, I thought, to display it early in the morning before sunrise – to show off its many lighted controls, buttons, and dials.
2023 Toyota RAV4 Changes
Probably the most useful change for Toyota RAV4 2023 was the addition of Toyota Audio Multimedia to the RAV4 Hybrid, RAV4 gasoline, and RAV4 Prime lineup.
Now passengers can utilize wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, pair multiple smartphones at the same time, and take advantage of the numerous new intuitive voice commands at their disposal.
Larger screens and displays are now available in Toyota RAV4 Prime, RAV4 gasoline, and RAV4 Hybrid. This one had a 10.5-inch multimedia touchscreen and a 12.3-inch multi-information display. My test vehicle came with the optional 11-speaker JBL sound system as well.
Safety has been updated to Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 from TSS 2.0. This system can detect people, bicyclists, and other vehicles. It can also help you at intersections by letting you know if there are people or cars coming while you are trying to make a turn.
For me, anything that can give drivers and their passengers more peace of mind is a big win.
Toyota RAV4 Lighted Buttons
I think my favorite “under the radar” improvement is the addition of backlighting for many of the 2023 RAV4 (and 2022 model year) interior cabin buttons. Most of the door panel, dashboard, and steering wheel buttons are lit up. Imagine how nice it is to actually see the buttons you are trying to push in low lighting or at night.
This is a massively huge upgrade, and I have heard from several Toyota RAV4 Hybrid and RAV4 owners who are thrilled with this new change.
My 2023 RAV4 Hybrid XSE Video
I hope you enjoy my “ToyotaJeff Reviews” YouTube channel video of this 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XSE in low light. It really shows off its LED headlights, vertical accent lights, and taillights. Also, lights are aplenty inside as well.
Feel free to subscribe to both my YouTube channels: "ToyotaJeff Reviews" and "AutoJeff Reviews" to learn more about the vehicles you are interested in.
Time for Your Toyota RAV4 Comments
