Learn about the new ways to find an Army Green 2021 Tundra or Tacoma. It is different from last year.
It is almost time to see rows and rows of shiny new Toyota Tacoma and Tundra trucks at your favorite dealerships. This is the time of year when 2020 vehicle inventories begin to fade and new ones like 2021 Tacoma start to appear.
In the world of 2020 Toyota trucks, we were greeted with a new exclusive TRD Pro color – Army Green. This was available only on Tacoma and Tundra TRD Pro trucks. It was not available on any other trim levels.
Toyota Tundra Army Green
This is a color rotation system that Toyota has perfected. Every year since 2015, a new color has been introduced just for the TRD Pro.
The first color, for 2015, was Inferno Orange. Then Cement was introduced in 2016. This has been followed by Quicksand, Cavalry Blue and Voodoo Blue.
Army Green became popular right away with truck fans and enthusiasts. Dealerships have had, and still have, challenges finding enough 2020 Tacoma and Tundra TRD Pro trucks to satisfy buyer demand.
As one high volume dealer in California put it, “An Army Green Tacoma is right up there with unicorns and Bigfoot.”
2021 Tundra Army Green - How to Find
If the pattern falls according to plan (and it will this year too), this exclusive TRD Pro color will be offered in other trim levels for the next model year.
For example, the 2019 Toyota TRD Pro color is offered in many trim levels for 2020 Tundra and Tacoma, so that Army Green could slide into the TRD Pro position for 2020.
2021 Tundra and Tacoma fans may be interested in this year’s TRD Pro color – Lunar Rock.

This means Army Green will be widely available on other trims. Look for Army Green in 2021 Tundra trim levels such as SR5, Limited and 1794 Edition.
The 2021 Tacoma can be found in Army Green on SR5, Limited, TRD Sport and TRD Off-Road.

Trail Special Editions are available in both 2021 Toyota Tacoma and Tundra. They will also offer Army Green as a color selection. Buyers can also pick from Midnight Black, Super White and Cement for Trail Edition grades.

Hi Jeff and thanks for the
Hi Jeff and thanks for the nice review of these two iconic trucks. I have a question for you that I'm hoping you can help with. I know that the '20 TRD Pro in Army Green was the Pro special color that year. Do you know how many Tundra Pro's were made in Army Green AND in the double cab set up as you show in this video. I also have that same truck and it seems to be a rare bird in my area. Is there a way to find this number? Thanks again and keep up the great videos and reviews.
