Toyota Venza is loaded with features – even on the entry level LE. You must see this to believe it.
This is not your typical entry-level vehicle.
Yes, Venza is making its return after a several-year of absence from the market. However, this is not the vehicle from the past we all remember.
The 2021 Toyota Venza is sleek and luxurious. “Lexus-like” is what I have heard from many people on my “Toyotajeff” YouTube channel.
“Looks a lot like a Lexus.” Commented Two Car Garage.
“Are you sure this is a Toyota – not LEXUS?” Asked Spark Sparky.
“When is this model coming to my town?” Wondered Patricia.
Toyota certainly aimed to make a statement with the 2021 Venza launch. The most remarkable point to stand out in my mind so far is just how much equipment will come standard on its base model Venza.
2021 Venza Configurations
Venza is available to consumers in three different trim levels – LE, XLE, and Limited. This is a wise configuration strategy, as these grades (or trim levels) are familiar to Toyota fans and owners. Plus, they are very easy to remember.
2021 Toyota Venza LE
XLE has more features than LE. Limited has more features than XLE. The question is, with the pure amount of useful technology, safety and convenience features standard on the LE level, is this the right one to choose?
Standard. Straight from the factory. You get what you get.
With a factory MSRP of $32,470, LE is loaded with basic features you would expect – plus much more.
VIDEO: 1st Look at 2021 Toyota Venza LE in my video review.
2021 Venza entry-level LE comes equipped right out of the gate with LED headlights and LED daytime running lights. Plus, the smart key push-button start. And 18-inch alloy wheels.
Look at the list of standard Venza LE equipment and see if this interests you.
- Toyota Safety Sense 2.0
- Blindspot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert
- 8-inch multimedia touch screen
- Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa
- 4 USB ports (1 media and 3 charging ports)
- Power driver’s seat
- Remote engine start
- Toyota Safety Connect and Remote Connect
- Digital dual temperature controls
- Hands-free (foot-operated) power liftgate
- Qi wireless phone charging
This list is quite remarkable. The feature that stands out for me is the hands-free power liftgate. This is normally reserved for the highest, most luxurious trim levels of vehicles, like a 2020 Highlander Platinum.
2021 Venza specs
Venza is built as an all-hybrid all all-wheel-drive vehicle.
It is powered by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and electric motors and produces 219 net hybrid horsepower (same as found on RAV4 Hybrid). Venza drives smooth and quiet and is zippy when accelerating.

It utilizes an on-demand all-wheel-drive system and is estimated up to 40 miles per gallon in city driving conditions.
Time for your thoughts on 2021 Venza
Venza should arrive at dealerships across the country this month.
Have you seen 2021 Toyota Venza in person yet and what are your impressions? Is Venza on your list of vehicles to consider?
Thanks for watching everyone. See you in the next story when I reveal what trim levels of 2021 Toyota Tundra will get Army Green, including pictures.

I have a 2011 Venza with 105k
I have a 2011 Venza with 105k miles and have had zero problems with it. I love it. It would be awfully hard to replace it with the new one. The other Venza owners I know feel the same way. I think this will be a great addition 5o the Toyota lineup and a good choice for new car buyers, but I don’t think this new Venza will tempt original Venza owners to ‘convert’ to the new model.
The Venza looks great and
The Venza looks great and would be on my list for my next vehicle, but to my understanding there is no towing capacity and I need to tow a light trailer from time to time. Any suggestions other than purchasing a different vehicle?
Well, it is basically a RAV4,
Well, it is basically a RAV4, which does have towing ability. However there is a 'kick' option to open the rear hatch. That sensor is placed under the hatch where the tow setup would be placed. You can deactivate the kick option and put the trailer hitch in its place.
We just purchased a Venza
We just purchased a Venza last week and then found out there is no tow package. Have you had experience deactivating the kick option and adding a hitch? We'd love to know if this has worked out for anyone.
Thanks!
Hi, I saw a venza in Tampa
Hi, I saw a venza in Tampa bay with a tow hitch attached. Guess it is doable as I also see hitches sold online and in Uhaul if the side kick sensor is disabled. Does anyone know how to disable the sensor?
Given the trunk space is less, it would be nice to have a luggage carrier attached in the hitch.
Hi, I have not seen the 2021
Hi, I have not seen the 2021 Venza in my area metro New York/Westchester County. It was real nice to see Jeff's Youtube video to introduce the new Venza right off the delivery trail. Jeff's YouTube videos are very informative as well as entertaining. I do like the Venza but I don't think I will be purchasing a new vehicle any time soon. However one can seldom predict the future. Wish I could bring that skill to Las Vegas. I'd probably get escorted by casino security. :/
