The largest Rolls-Royce showroom, with enough space to park five automobiles, all of them Rolls-Royces has just been opened. And of course, you make it possible every time you fill your tank. The new state-of-the-art facility is located in Abu Dhabi, of the United Arab Emirates.
The new dealership, in the Umm Al Nar area, has a 9,500 square foot showroom, plus a coffee bar and a "customer configuration lounge". The dealership also includes its own service facility.
The new dealership isn't the only one in the Middle East, only the largest of a growing number of similar if smaller establishments.
"The showroom opening in Abu Dhabi represents one of a line of new and expanded Rolls-Royce showrooms which have been unveiled throughout the Gulf region in the last 18 months," said Torsten Muller-Otvos, CEO of Rolls-Royce. "The Middle East continues to be an important driver in the global growth of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars."
Last year said Muller-Otvos, the region accounted for 15 percent of Rolls-Royce's sales.
How important is the Middle East? Rolls-Royce used the occasion to introduce the Spirit of Ecstasy Centenary Collection Phantom Drophead Coupe. Only 100 of the custom-equipped cars will be made, honoring the first time the winged mascot was first used on a Rolls.
The Centenary cars will have a special white-on-black double-R badge and the Spirit Ecstasy will be illuminated by white light shining upwards from its base. According to Rolls-Royce, Middle Eastern buyers are particularly fond of special editions such as the Centenary.
Considering that the Abu Dhabi is home to the world's largest Rolls-Royce showroom, it's no wonder Rolls-Royce accommodates them.
