This One Tip Can Save You Thousands On A New Toyota Prius

There is always an insiders tip on how to save thousands when buying a new vehicle. This one many people do not know or realize. It can literally save you thousands off the top when considering buying a new Toyota Prius.

If I could ever offer advice to new car buyers is for sure would be this one tip. I did not really think about it till a colleague of mine pointed it out to me. It was as a light had illuminated a bright pathway through clouds of ignorance.

This was the moment I realized, as I have many times before, how often we are marketed to and for what reasons. I will only give you this tip if you promise you will use it wisely, also you have to be pretty willing to flex on a few things as well. Just hear me out though, it will be great.

The best part is that it will work on any Prius, you name it this tip will work. Here it is.

The TIp That Saves Thousands Of Dollars On A New Toyota Prius

The tip is this. Go to the dealer. Pick out the Prius you want and check on it often. Avoid sales people, and keep to yourself. Then wait. While you are waiting, wait a little more. After that long period of waiting, wait just a bit longer.

You see the issue is not if the Prius will sell, it is all a matter of when. Sales people know this, which is why they will pressure you (even if they say they are no pressure sales people) into signing the paper and driving one home today. They know you have already come to buy, but what they are not expecting, is that you have come to wait.

The key to this is waiting for the right time to buy. You see, the new model years start coming out mid year which means the heat is on for car dealers to shed the weight of the older models. This means savings, and big time. When dealer know they have to get rid of inventory, they are more willing to come down of the high initial price of the car, in our case the Prius.

Thinking about a new 2019 Prius Prime? Wait for it. Thinking about a new 2019 Prius AWD-e? Wait for it. Thinking of just a Prius in general? Yep, wait for it. As soon as new stock starts hitting and the year starts closing, that is when you need to strike.

The Bad About This Tip
The only thing I have to warn you about is that waiting also can mean another consumer with money burning a hole in his/her pocket could easily come in and swoop it up. So you have to be willing to flex a little on options there.

If you are cool with just getting a good deal on a new Prius and you really do not care which one. This tip will most certainly work for you.

Conclusion
Like I said, waiting the dealer out can force them to be better at negotiating a good deal with you when it comes to getting a model year end closeout deal. Just remember good things come to those who wait, and that most certainly can be you.
