The makers of the Audi A3 series are showing their cards, revealing details, today, of what Audi fans can expect with the 2015 A3 sedan models. For those planning to save up some cash to buy one, the car manufacturer also released the pricing details.
Audi considers its A3 series to be a "starting" vehicle for those looking to enter into the world of luxury cars. Today's announcement states that the 2015 A3 series will have a starting MSRP of $29,900 for the version that comes with 1.8 TFI powertrain. For those looking for their 2.0 TFSI powertrain, your starting base amount is going to come in around $32,900.
What do you get for that kind of money? Audi has become famous for its luxury features and the 2015 A3 appears to be continuing that legacy. Standard features at the base price include:
● Leather seats
● Audi's signature Singleframe grille
● Retractable MMI display
● Drive select
● 4G LTE connectivity
● Bang & Olufsen stereo audio system
Audi is also promising drivers that the layout of controls and devices inside the car will set the standard for ergonomics and safe driving. The A3 will also come standard with a sunroof and bi-xenon headlights.
If you are willing to shell out a few more bucks, there are luxury packages that upgrade the A3 into true luxury standards. These features include:
● 18" 10-spoke wheels
● Aluminum interior package
● Keyless entry
Additional packages are also available that up the ante on the sound system and offer such features as driver-assistance and navigation. These additional luxury packages will cost the average driver up to an additional $8,800.
The new 2015 A3s will be out sometime in 2014. Just recently Audi has announced more of its planned 2015 models, including its A3 Cabriolet and a clean diesel model called the TDI.
