The configurator page for the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat officially went live last night so you can now price out your dream Hellcat, but far more importantly, the automaker is now taking dealer and consumer orders on the most powerful American production car ever.
The performance world has been intently focused on the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat over the past few months and at long last, you can both configure your ideal 707 horsepower Mopar muscle car on the Dodge.com website and head to your local dealership to formally place an order.
Order Your Hellcat Today
While the order banks for the 2015 Dodge Challenger order a few weeks back, the 707 horsepower SRT Hellcat model was not included in that first batch of ordering. Fortunately, that has all changed as orders for the new supercharged Challenger are officially being accepted by the automaker for the first production run.
DON'T MISS: 2015 Challenger's Allocation Rules are a Good News for You
I should point out that there are some folks posting online that they ordered their 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat previous to today and while technically, true – those pre-orders differ. A dealership can and will take your money to pre-order anything. For example, you could probably walk into any Dodge dealership in America and tell them that you want to put some money down to order a 2017 Ram 1500… and they will accept that money along with keeping some record of your order. Doing that with the 2015 Challenger Hellcat may have helped some buyers guarantee that they get the first dealer-ordered unit that arrives, but those pre-orders have no bearing on production. When those folks placed their pre-order, nothing was sent to the automaker because they weren’t accepting orders at that point.
On the other hand, the orders being accepted by dealerships starting today for the Hellcat Challenger will be sent off to the production facility with all of the buyer’s specifications to build their ideal Mopar muscle car.

Once you move to the color page for the 2015 Hellcat Challenger configurator, you are prompted to pick between three interior colors (Black, Black/Red, Black/Sepia) as well as a group of exterior colors which includes seven “free” exterior colors (Billet Silver, Bright White, Granite Crystal, Jazz Blue, Pitch Black, Sublime Green and TorRed) and two premium colors (Phantom Black, Ivory White) that add $500 to the bottom line. Honestly, I don’t understand why every single Hellcat Challenger isn’t ordered in either Sublime or TorRed with the satin black hood option, but to each their own. For me, it would most certainly be Sublime Green with the Satin Black hood on the outside with the Black interior.

After picking your colors, you are taken to the options screen which – for the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat – is pretty brief. The Hellcat package comes pretty well appointed inside and out, so there aren’t many options. Interior options include a navigation system for $695 (which I would pick) and a Laguna Leather seating package for $1,795 (that I would not pick simply because Im not someone who sees the point of paying $1,800 for fancier leather). There are also red seatbelts for $95 and if I was getting a TorRed Hellcat Challenger (or any color other than green or blue), I would definitely get the red seats and the red seatbelts.
Exterior options include $395 summer performance tires (yes please!), the $1,195 power sunroof and the $995 Satin Black aluminum hood (a big yes) while the only drivetrain option is the 8-speed automatic transmission for $1,995. I’m torn on which transmission I would want, as the 8-speed manual is more efficient (thus a lower gas guzzler tax) and quicker based on company testing, but I do love the feel of the manual transmission.
