General Motors still has not announced the complete pricing for the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, but thanks to a source who wishes to remain nameless, we have a more expanded list of Camaro Coupe pricing than the official numbers that we covered a few weeks back.
Before I get into the pricing figures on the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, I want to make it clear that these are not official numbers, but rather numbers sent to be via a dealership employee who offered these under the condition of anonymity. I don’t know that they are all correct, but in looking around the internet, these prices are comparable to other leaked pricing figures that have been published. So, these aren’t official pricing figures for the 2016 Camaro, but I believe them to be accurate.
2016 Camaro Trimline Pricing
First off, we learned a few weeks back that the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro 1LT with the 4-cylinder turbocharged engine and a manual transmission starts at $26,695 while the Camaro 1SS with the LT1 V8 starts at $37,295. Both of these prices include the $995 destination fee and the standard 6-speed manual transmission.
Those who want the more heavily appointed Camaro 2LT with the turbo 4 engine will face a starting price of $30,795 while the loaded up Camaro 2SS starts at $42,295 – again including the 6-speed manual transmission and destination fees.
Adding the 3.6L V6 to the 2016 Camaro 1LT or 2LT will increase the price by $1,495, so the 2016 V6 Camaro should start at $28,190 in 1LT form and $32,290 for the 2LT with the manual transmission. Adding the 8-speed automatic transmission will paddle shifters and remote start also adds $1,495 to every package, so the base turbocharged 4-cylinder Camaro with the automatic transmission should start around $28,190 and the V6 automatic Camaro 1LT should start around $29,685.
The Camaro 1SS with the automatic transmission should start around $38,790 and in 2SS form, the self-shifting LT1 Camaro should start around $43,790.
