Kelley Blue Book has released their "10 Coolest New Cars" list and the 2014 Versa Note has been included. No wonder this car sells so well.
The Kelley Blue Book list of coolest cars is compiled by the KBB.com editors using only two criteria: the car must be fun-to-drive and fun-to-own. Pretty simple. When they compiled the 10 Coolest New Cars Under $18,000 list, they had one specific buyer's market in mind: young people.
After a week-long test drive in the 2014 Versa Note as a press loan recently, I knew that this car was a winner. The photo above was taken during that time and is one of many photos I took of the fun little Note. It drives well, is highly versatile, and has good interior ergonomics. It's also affordable and fuel-sipping. These points were not lost on the KBB editors.
The starting MSRP for the 2014 Versa Note is $13,990 and in its top-most fitting, the car still rings in at roughly $20,000. Most buyers are buying the car for well under the $18,000 mark that is the ceiling for the KBB.com 10 Coolest New Cars list.
About the 2014 Versa Note, KBB said: "A first-time entry on this annual list, the new-for-2014 Versa Note -- the 5-door sibling to the Versa sedan -- is exceptionally roomy and flexible and offers a bunch of cool features including Nissan’s handy Around View Monitor."
Welcome to the Versa Note fan club, KBB.
