Hyundai has created a new Driveway Decision Maker tool to allow customers to try on a new Elantra. Virtually.

Hyundai has an innovative new way to let customers try on a new Elantra for size. Test drives are great and all, but will your new car choice look good in the driveway?

Obviously, this compelling question needs answering and a test drive won't always give it. So Hyundai has created the Driveway Decision Maker to see if your new Elantra choice fits in with your blingin' lifestyle. Now, people can find out how good a new Elantra will look parked in their driveway, all from the comfort and convenience of their home computer.

Here's how it works:

Pick your favorite Elantra model (GT, Coupe, Sedan) on PickMyElantra.com, put in your home address, and watch as it cruises up to your house and parks courtesy of Google Street View.

“With the two additions to the Elantra family, customers now have the option of choosing between the GT, Coupe and Sedan,” said Steve Shannon, vice president of Marketing, Hyundai Motor America. “Driveway Decision Maker lets users customize and ‘try-on’ which Elantra fits them best.”

And you thought all those Google cars cruising around photographing streets and alley ways were for important mapping needs like using your GPS to find a good restaurant. HA!

If you have a few minutes, you can try the Driveway Decision Maker for yourself. It is kind of fun.
