Got a big Nissan NV hankerin'? Pricing for the 2014 models has just been announced for the U.S. market, starting far lower than might be expected.

Commercial buyers and large families will be pleased to know that Nissan has finally announced pricing for the 2014 models in the U.S. lineup of the NV Passenger Van, NV1500, NV2500, and NV3500 HD vans.

These are available in both V6 and V8 engine options and the commercial line has Standard and High Roof options as well. Trim levels start at the S and go up to the SV then SL trims, with the latter being the top trim for the Passenger Van and the SV being the top trim for the commercial cargo van.

The 2014 Nissan NV Passenger is a four-row, 12-passenger full-sized van offered for both family and fleet use. It includes eight standard airbags and integrated seat belts for all seating positions. Independent rear seating allows up to 324 seating combinations. Available technology includes a 5-inch touch-screen navigation system, stereo options, and Bluetooth Hands-free.

MSRP for the Passenger begins at $32,240 for the NVP 3500 S with the 4.0L V6 engine option. The NVP 3500 SV with the V6 starts at $34,440. The NVP 3500 S with the 5.6L V8 engine starts at $33,440, the SV with the V8 is $35,640, and the SL with the V8 is $38,240. Prices do not include destination and handling.

The 2014 Nissan NV Cargo 1500 begins at $25,670 for the S trim with the V6 engine and Standard roof. The SV V6 jumps to $26,660. The NV 2500 S trim with the V6 engine begins at $26,670 in Standard roof ($29,220 for High roof) and goes to $27,660 for the SV trim with the V6 ($30,210 for High roof).

The Nissan NV 2500 S trim with the V8 engine begins at $27,870 for the Standard roof ($30,420 for High roof) and goes to $28,860 for the SV trim V8 with Standard roof ($31,410 for High roof). The NV 3500 S trim with the V8 engine and Standard roof begins at $29,570 ($32,120 for High roof) and goes to $30,560 for the SV V8 Standard roof trim ($33,110 for High roof). Prices, again, do not include destination fees.

The NV series is quickly gaining a reputation for durability and reliability in the commercial van sector and is one of the few large-sized, 12-passenger vans left in the family segment.
