Toyota's new 2018 Sequoia has some equipment upgrades, but the look is the real news.
Toyota's new 2018 Sequoia TRD Sport looks great in its new trim. The blacked-out grill, mirror caps, and black 20" alloy rims highlight the vehicle's macho looks perfectly. In addition to the blacked out parts that catch the eye immediately, Toyota has added darkened rear tail light housing, black satin finish TRD Sport badging on the front doors and a metallic black and chrome Sequoia badge on the liftgate.
Inside, Toyota will offer standard black fabric seven-passenger seating, or optional black leather captain chair seats (as a part of the Premium Package). The TRD Sport also gets a TRD shift knob, TRD Sport floor mats, and TRD Sport sill protectors.
The Sequoia TRD Sport is not just an appearance package, though. The Sequoia with its standard 5.7-liter V8 engine will now ride on TRD Sport Tuned Bilstein Shocks and TRD front and rear anti-sway bars. The lighting has been upgraded to LED standard on 1974 Edition, Limited, and Platinum trims, including the available fog lights.
The Sequoia TRD Sport will be available in either available in 4x4 or rear-wheel drive. Color options are; Midnight Black Metallic, Shoreline Blue Pearl, Toasted Walnut Pearl, Super White, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Silver Sky Metallic, Blizzard Pearl, and Sizzling Crimson.
Like all new model year Toyotas, the Sequoia will feature standard active safety protection.
