It's not the Subaru Crosstrek's first retained value award.
The J.D. Power 2024 Canada ALG Residual Value Awards are in, and they say the all-new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek is better than any other model in its segment. The next-generation Subaru Crosstrek took home the Subcompact Utility segment award.
I cover the awards annually, and it's not the first time the Crosstrek is the best pick for customers. The Subaru Crosstrek wins for the eighth time.
MY TAKE
The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek is a top choice for new SUV shoppers because, in addition to being fuel efficient, it comes with Subaru's excellent Symmetrical all-wheel-drive for winter-weather capability, 8.7 inches of ground clearance (and 9.3 inches on Wilderness trim), has X-Mode for severe weather performance and dual-function X-Mode on some trims for all-terrain capability.
The Crosstrek is designed for the most active customers who want to avoid sitting home on the weekends when the snow flies. The Subaru subcompact is the best pick for outdoor enthusiasts.
iSeeCars says the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek is ranked the #1 compact SUV in resale value.
