The 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class display at the Frankfurt Auto Show gives an idea of the new sports equipment that is available on the new four-door coupe.
The highly-anticipated 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class is launching today in the U.S. and comes with new sporty options revealed in Frankfurt. The day has finally arrived and the new CLA-Class is available in U.S. showrooms starting today. This car that will help define who Mercedes-Benz is moving into the future.
The new CLA-Class is defining who the brand is and it signals a new era as they attract a new generation of buyers who never thought about buying a Mercedes vehicle before. But that all changes today here in the U.S., and the new model is going to be sporty. The new 2014 Mercedes CLA has been on display at the Frankfurt Auto Show and the four-door coupe comes with a number of sport equipment options for buyers to make it even sportier.
It begins on the outside with six color options for the exterior. Buyers can choose custom matt black 5-twin-spoke 18-inch wheels that sets the CLA apart. Custom "Road" and "Track" racing graphics in "checkered flag" design on the side, that runs from the hood, top and down the rear deck can also be added to the four-door coupe. An individual start number (0-9) and sun visor strip is also custom ordered. Carbon style exterior mirrors can be added for an individual sporty look.
A carbon front bumper lip spoiler and rear spoiler fixed on the rear deck lid is another sporty option which accentuates the rear contours. A “Night” styling package consists of black high-gloss trim strips outlines the coupe-style windows. A special brake kit can be ordered that includes red calipers with Mercedes-Benz lettering. Sport badges for the front fenders will finish out the custom look.
Inside, there are a number of custom sport accessories to set the CLA apart from the standard model. High-quality stainless steel sill plates light up when getting in and out with “Sport” lettering. Also available are Velor mats with black with red stitching and sports badge in front.
Sport pedals in brushed stainless steel and a non-slip stud panel keep the drivers foot from slipping during spirited and track driving. A leather wrapped sports steering wheel with flat-bottomed in black leather with red accent stitching and partially perforated finished out the custom interior options. It also comes with optional sport shift paddles and lane departure warning.
