2017 Subaru Impreza Sedan and Hatch Will Break Cover in New York

The all-new 2017 Subaru Impreza will make its global debut next week. It will be revealed at the New York International Auto Show.

For those waiting for the all-new 2017 Subaru Impreza, you won’t have to wait much longer. The new 2017 Subaru Impreza will finally make its global debut at the New York International Auto Show next week. Subaru announced that the new compact sedan and 5-Door hatchback will both be unveiled on March 23 in New York. The reveal of the new all-wheel-drive compact will be made by Fuji Heavy Industries President and CEO, Yasuyuki Yoshinaga at 12:20 EST at the Subaru booth following his speech to the press.

The all-new Impreza will be built here in the U.S. at the newly expanded plant in Lafayette, Indiana later this year. Impreza sedan and 5-Door hatch will be the first next-generation Subaru to ride on the new Subaru Global Platform featuring a completely redesigned architecture.

Impreza gets a complete redesign

The new Impreza will get a complete redesign and will feature upgraded in-car technology a more spacious interior and a new exterior design. Subaru released the teaser image above that shows the hawk-eye headlights that came on the Impreza Concepts. There’s more coming for compact car buyers beyond new exterior sheetmetal.
