Subaru announced few changes to the 2022 Outback, and 2023 is when the Outback gets a refresh with new upgrades. Check out the new 2023 Outback, Ascent, and Legacy model changes here.

The 2022 Subaru Outback arrives this summer with standard LED foglight, and Premium trims now feature rear ventilation in the center console. The new rugged Wilderness trim is also coming, but when will Subaru upgrade the exterior and interior? The Outback received a complete redesign from the ground up in 2020, and Outback is due for a refresh or “big model change” (BMC) in 2023.

Subaru builds the Outback, Ascent, and Legacy at the U.S. plant in Lafayette, Indiana, and the Japanese automaker has decided to refresh all three models for the 2023 model change. The Ascent SUV was scheduled to be refreshed for its 2022 models, but the family hauler will now get new upgrades the same year (2023) as Outback and Legacy.

What’s coming for the 2023 model change?

The 2023 Outback and Legacy will be in the fourth year of their life cycle. Subaru typically gives its models a refresh with a new front fascia outside (headlights, bumper, hexagon grille) and unique interior upgrades with fabric changes inside, and a new exterior color. Ascent will now get new upgrades in its fifth year. The complete remodel from the ground up will come in 2024 for all three vehicles.

The 2022 Outback, Ascent, and Legacy arrive this summer with few changes. However, you can read about each model change in the links provided here: the 2022 Outback, the 2022 Ascent, the 2022 Legacy.

What is the price of the 2022 Subaru Outback?

The 2022 Outback comes in eight trim levels; the base trim is priced from $27,845, Premium ($30,270), Limited ($34,720), Touring ($38,620), Onyx Edition XT ($36,270), new for 2022, Outback Wilderness ($38,120), Limited XT ($39,120), and Touring XT ($41,070). Pricing includes $1,125 destination and delivery fees.

What is the price of the 2022 Subaru Ascent?

The 2022 Subaru Ascent base starts at $33,420, and Premium trims begin at $35,920. The new Ascent Onyx Edition starts at $39,120. The upper Limited starts at $40,720, and the top-trim Touring has a starting MSRP of $46,570. Pricing includes destination fees.

What is the price of the 2022 Subaru Legacy?

The 2022 Legacy sedan comes in six trim levels. The 2022 midsize sedan starts at $23,955 for the base trim, Premium ($26,205), Sport ($29,750), Limited ($30,905), Limited XT ($35,455), and Touring XT ($37,155). Destination and delivery fees are included in the pricing above.

The 2023 Subaru Outback, 2023 Subaru Ascent, and 2023 Subaru Legacy will come with a refreshed exterior and interior, but we don’t expect any changes to the engine and drivetrain. If you can wait for the upgrades, new 2023 models will arrive in one year, the summer of 2022.

Sir,
Is there any substance in your article? Anything that you are telling the readers about the actual changes in the Subaru 2023 Model year vehicles you cite other than providing vague, non-specific and general content? It's is just a teaser title to attract readers to your post. And I have seen that to be the case about many of your posts - lacking substance and REAL content about actual future changes coming to Subaru vehicles. Terrible journalism!

Love my 2019 Ascent Touring, but due to the lack of change, I’m looking at alternatives. Black paint ain’t gonna get it.

"The Ascent SUV was scheduled to be refreshed for its 2022 models, but the family hauler will now get new upgrades the same year (2023) as Outback and Legacy."

Again, I ask, why do you just randomly make up stuff?
