The next-generation 2024 Subaru Impreza arrives now, and Subaru of America has just activated a new website for you to start your build. After choosing a trim level and options, check out the features, colors, and option packages and see how much the compact hatchback will cost.

What's new for the 2024 Impreza model change?

The all-new sixth-generation Subaru Impreza compact car gets high-tech upgrades, new features, and a restyled exterior design. Subaru dropped the sedan body style, and the hatchback is in for "more playful fun and utility," says Subaru.

The Subaru Impreza 2.5-liter RS is the new trim level for compact car shoppers.

The new RS comes with a re-tuned 2.5-liter Boxer engine with 182 horsepower and 178 ft lbs of torque. In addition, the RS has a sport-tuned suspension, bigger brakes, 18-inch alloy wheels, and SI-Drive. The 2.5-liter engine is mated with a Lineartronic CVT automatic transmission featuring an 8-speed manual mode with steering wheel paddle shifters.

Subaru says the new Impreza RS trim offers unique exterior trim elements, including RS badging on the front doors and rear hatch, 18-inch alloy wheels in a dark gray finish, black finish on the front grille, side spoilers, side mirrors, upgraded LED headlights, and LED fog lights.

Does the 2024 Subaru Impreza get a price increase?

The completely remodeled 2024 Impreza offers exceptional value. The Base hatchback price increased by $1,470. The Sport trim level price dropped $30, and the RS is all new for 2024, so there's no previous generation model for comparison.

Dealer fees increased by $70. Remember that even though the Sport trim price dropped, most customers will purchase the Sport trim with the option package listed below.

2024 Impreza option packages

The Impreza Sport option package includes a power moonroof, blind-spot detection with lane change assist and rear cross-traffic alert, and the all-weather package for an MSRP of $1,900.

The new RS trim option package includes a Harman Kardon 10-speaker system with a 432-watt equivalent amplifier, power moonroof, and 10-way power front driver seat with lumbar support for an MSRP of $2,070.

2024 Subaru Impreza pricing

The 2024 Subaru Impreza Base hatchback starts at $24,085, the Sport hatch starts at $26,085, and the all-new RS hatch with the 2.5-liter Boxer engine starts at $28,975. Pricing includes destination and delivery fees ($1,090).

Somebody dropped the ball here, huh.
I ordered my 24 impreza RS 3 months ago and took delivery 3 days ago. Just now it hits the manufacturers website..... Genius.

Subaru playing games with options packages to conceal price hikes. Why not just be straightforward? e.g., there's no fog light or All Weather Package option on the base (you have to go up to the Sport); but on the Sport, the All-Weather features are part of a $2000 option package when in 2023 they were STANDARD on the Premium trim. Also, lack of a spare tire is a deal breaker, unless it's possible to order a Crosstrek spare tire kit.
