Where do the 2021 Subaru Forester, Outback, and Crosstrek sell the fastest? Check out the cities where Subaru SUVs are flying off dealers' lots.

If you live in one of these six cities, you may not find the 2021 Subaru Forester, Outback, or Crosstrek model you want. iSeeCars analyzed the data geographically to find the fastest-selling new cars in the top 50 most populous metro areas.

iSeeCars identified the top 20 fastest-selling new cars, and the average best-selling vehicle spends 13.7 days on dealers' lots. Four Subaru vehicles, the 2021 Forester compact SUV, 2021 Subaru Outback midsize SUV, 2021 Subaru Crosstrek subcompact SUV, and 2021 Subaru Ascent 3-Row SUV all sell faster than the top twenty vehicles in six U.S. cities.

The 2021 Subaru Forester sells fastest in Indianapolis, Indiana taking just 4.1 days to sell. It only takes 6.4 days to sell a Forester in Memphis, Tennessee. A used Forester takes 16.5 days to sell in Norfolk-Portsmouth-Newport News, Virginia.

The 2021 Subaru Outback is flying off dealers' lots in Nashville, Tennessee taking just 2.8 days to sell. Likewise, a used Subaru Outback takes just 12.7 days to sell in Austin, Texas.

The 2021 Subaru Crosstrek is the fastest-selling car in Portland, Oregon, and takes only 4.2 days to sell. Another Subaru, the 2021 Ascent 3-Row SUV, sells fastest in Cleveland-Akron (Canton), Ohio taking just 7.4 days to sell.

It's a surprise the Forester and Outback sell so quickly in Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee, respectively. Subaru sells the majority of its all-wheel-drive vehicles in cold weather and mountain states. So Subaru is trying to gain a foothold in warm-weather states like Tennessee.

If you live in San Antonio, Texas, you will also have an even harder time finding a used Subaru WRX or WRX STI performance sedan. The iSeeCars report says it takes just 13.3 days to sell one of the Subaru sports cars in that city.

iSeeCars Executive Analyst Karl Brauer says, "Car buyers who are making a new or used car purchase might have difficulty finding the most in-demand vehicles and may end up paying a premium for them in the used car marketplace amid microchip-related inventory constraints."

If you buy a 2021 Subaru Forester, 2021 Outback, 2021 Crosstrek, or 2021 Ascent in one of these cities, you better act quickly because they are flying off dealers' lots.

Tennessee has tons of mountains, shouldn't be surprised. One underrated feature of Subaru is how well they do with elevation changes, even in naturally aspirated trims.
