Car and Driver says the Outback wins the best wagon award for its “lifted suspension, it provides better ground clearance (8.7-inches), cargo friendly interior, and has plenty of tech features.” The C&D verdict says the SUV-alternative 2022 Outback lures buyers with its “rugged appearance and wins them over with its roomy, ever-practical station wagon interior, and comfortable ride.”

The 2022 Outback comes in eight trim levels; the base trim is priced from $27,845, Premium ($30,270), Limited ($34,720), Touring ($38,620), Onyx Edition XT ($36,270), new for 2022, Outback Wilderness ($38,120), Limited XT ($39,120), and Touring XT ($41,070). Pricing includes $1,125 destination and delivery fees.

The next-generation 2022 Subaru BRZ Premium trim with a 6-speed manual gearbox has a starting price of $28,955. BRZ Premium with an automatic transmission starts at $30,555. The Limited (6-speed manual) has a starting MSRP of $31,455. The Limited with an automatic transmission starts at $33,255. All pricing includes destination and delivery fees.
