Hennessey Performance has just introduced the 2013 VR1200 Cadillac CTS-V Twin Turbo Coupe with an incredible 1,226 horsepower.
The guys over at Hennessey Performance have done it again and taken a high-performance Cadillac CTS-V and turned it into a monster. They have just introduced the 2013 VR1200 Twin Turbo Coupe that pumps out a mind-numbing 1,226 horsepower and 1,109 lb-ft of torque. This is the same team out of Sealy, Texas who built Steven Tyler’s 2013 Hennessey Venom GT Spyder. John Hennessey has been making “fast cars faster” since 1991 and knows how to take a fun car and make it even better.
The Hennessey team took a stock Cadillac CTS-V and did their magic. The Cadillac CTS-V supercar will launch from 0-60 in an incredible 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 242 mph, if you can find a track long enough. It will eat up the quarter mile in 10.2 seconds with a speed at the traps of 141 mph. It’s an understatement to say that the 1,226 horsepower 2013 VR1200 Twin Turbo Coupe is scary fast.
Hennessey pulled the 6.2-liter stock CTS-V powerplant and replaced it with a 7.0-liter aluminum V8 with enough goodies inside to make a grown man cry. They started inside by balancing and Blueprinting the entire engine assembly. They added Forged Aluminum Pistons, Forged Steel Connecting Rods and Crankshaft, High Flow Cylinder Heads, and a Hennessey VR1200 Camshaft.
Externally they added Upgraded Fuel Injectors and fuel delivery system, Twin Ball Bearing, Billet Wheel Precision Turbochargers, Dual Wastegates, Adjustable Boost Controller (800, 1000 & 1226 HP power settings), Stainless Steel Turbo Downpipes and Exhaust System, Air-to-Water Intercooler, and a High-Flow Air Induction System.
All that power is transferred to the rear wheels by a manual centerforce dual friction clutch transmission, and for an additional $20,000, an automatic is available with a performance build & torque converter upgrade. 15.1-inch performance Brembo brakes with carbon ceramic rotors and eight-piston calipers bring the CTS-V supercar to a quick stop.
The performance suspension has been lowered 1-inch front and rear and the front and rear swaybars have been upgraded. Outside, the VR1200 Twin Turbo Coupe gets extensive carbon fiber treatments on the front splitter, front and rear fenders, hood, and rear diffuser.
Hennessey says they will limit production of the 2013 VR1200 Twin Turbo Coupe to just 12 vehicles and did not give the final cost of the supercar. For more details, contact John Hennessey at 979-885-1300 or email sales@hennesseyperformance.com.

That's just nuts. In a cool kind of way, of course, but still nuts.
