How would you like to own a piece of WRC history? This historic Subaru WRX STI is for sale and was driven by Colin McRae and Petter Holberg.
Both WRC Champions Colin McRae and Petter Holberg drove this 2007 Subaru WRX STI rally car and you could own it. It’s been put up for sale in the UK by RallySales. How much will you have to shell out for this historic Subaru STI? The asking price is 159,500.00 British Pounds ($231,371 US) which is a reasonable price considering the historic importance of this famous rally car.
The Subaru WRX STI was driven by Petter Solberg in the 2007 season of the World Rally Championship. It took second place overall in the 2007 WRC Rally de Portugal, third overall in the WRC Wales Rally, and a fourth place in the WRC Wales Rally GB. It was also driven by WRC Champion Colin McRae.
That same year, it was driven by Colin McRae at the 2007 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The championship driver thrilled fans that day as he drove the 2007 Subaru WRX STI fast around the course doing a few spins and even clipped hay bails as he powered the car around the track. It was one of his last public appearances in a Subaru. On September 15, 2007 Colin was tragically killed in a plane crash along with his five year old son Johnny and two family friends.

Since the restoration, the current owner has only put 350 kilometers (217 miles) on the clock. RallySales says the car is in showroom condition and it even comes with the FIA Gold Technical passport log. For more information on the 2007 Subaru WRX STI contact Marty at marty@candmmotors.com.

Try getting the name correct,
Try getting the name correct, It’s Peta Solberg. Either you know nothing about WRC & therefore shouldn’t be writing about it or you’re just a really painfully average proof reader!! Sorry man but that’s just tragic..
Just for future reference,
Just for future reference, Colin McRae died in a Helicopter Crash not a plane crash. Who’s Petter Holberg!! I’m sure he’s not listed as a WRC Driver anywhere on the internet. Writing that one of the WRC’s greatest ever drivers died in a way that he didn’t is truly atrocious journalism.. Do you not fact check or bother to “proof read” what you write prior to the publication of your article?
