If you are buying a new or used Subaru Outback, Crosstrek, Forester, or WRX, read this before you buy. These models will be the hardest to find in some states and more expensive.
Four Subaru models are among the fastest-selling new and used cars in July. In some states, the Subaru Outback, Crosstrek, Forester, or WRX will be more expensive and harder to find. It's simply a matter of supply and demand.
A recent report from iSeeCars analyzed over 228,000 cars sold in July 2023, and they found that the average used car takes 49.2 days to sell, while the average new car takes 48.2 days. But the four Subaru models are flying off dealers' lots in a few states that customers should know about before they buy.
The iSeeCars report says the Subaru Forester, Honda Civic, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Hyundai Santa Cruz are tied as the fastest-selling new cars in three states. The fastest-selling new vehicle across all states is the Subaru Crosstrek in Ohio at 4.5 days.
The 2023 Subaru Forester is fastest selling new vehicle in Arizona (14.2 days), Connecticut (17.7 days), and Oregon (4.6 days).
The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek is the fastest-selling new vehicle in Ohio (4.5 days) and Virginia (15.8 days).
The 2023 Subaru Outback is the fastest-selling new vehicle in Missouri at 16.4 days and Rhode Island (23.3 days).
The 2023 Subaru WRX is the fastest-selling new vehicle in Nevada at 24.1 days.
What were July's fastest-selling used Subaru models across the country?
The Subaru Forester is the fastest-selling used car in New Hampshire (29.9 days) and Wisconsin (23.4 days).
The Subaru Crosstrek is the fastest-selling used vehicle in Maine at 38.1 days and Missouri (21.4 days).
Another recent iSeeCars report says customers can save money by traveling to another state where the vehicles are in less demand and potentially save thousands of dollars.
