If you own a Subaru Forester Wilderness, you are ready to play in the snow. Here is how you can upgrade the already snow-ready model and take it to the next level.

The 2023 Subaru Forester Wilderness arrives now at U.S. retailers. It's just in time to take the snow-ready compact SUV out to play in deep snow. You don't need to upgrade the Wilderness trim, but if you want to take it to the next level, there's a good option.

The most adventurous customers in North America who want more attitude for their Forester Wilderness with the most aggressive nature will want what LP Aventure in Quebec, Canada offers.

They have produced a lift kit for the Wilderness trim level, giving it a more aggressive stance for more extreme off-road and deep snow pursuits. The LP Aventure Forester Wilderness is pictured with LP Aventure's 18-inch LP7 wheels wrapped in 255/55R18 BF Goodrich K02s, and a 2-inch Lift Kit.

Check out the recovery boards on the roof. They are an excellent tool if you get too deep in the white stuff. Self-recovery equipment helps you escape sticky situations and can even prevent them. Serious off-roaders recommend having traction boards, soft shackles, and tow straps, as these items would help you get your vehicle out of the sand, snow, mud, and other tricky spots.

You can raise the altitude of your Forester with the kit and won't need to worry about scraping the lower body while traveling through scrub brush, a river, or a rocky trail.

Forester Wilderness gets dual-function X-Mode

The Wilderness trim level comes with the automaker's Dual-Function X-Mode. The off-road system changes the SUV's brakes by locking up one wheel if it senses it spinning. The system knows it needs extra grip instead of letting the wheel spin. The new Wilderness also comes with Hill Descent Control. It ensures the SUV's speed doesn't increase when descending a hill, managing the braking to provide a controlled, smooth and safe descent.

Using the lift kit won't affect its rollover safety

Lifting your all-wheel-drive vehicle can change the electronic stability control (ESC) dynamics and increase the risk of a rollover crash if the driver engages in an evasive lane-change maneuver at highway speeds and can lose control. How do you know if your lifted vehicle still complies with the integrity of the original design from the factory?

LP Aventure says they test their off-road packages to comply with the NHTSA and its FMVSS126 Federal Motor Vehicle safety standard. LP Aventure collaborates with PMG at its test and research center, testing its lift kit packages on Subaru models like the Forester, Outback, and Crosstrek.

Subaru infused the new Forester Wilderness with more attitude and the spirit that made the Subaru brand successful in the beginning. LP Aventure gives Forester more attitude and altitude with its Wilderness kit.

What is the price of the Wilderness lift kit?

The LP Aventure Forester life kit, including Wilderness trim levels, fits the 2019-2023 Forester. The cost is $839.00 U.S. dollars.

What is the price of the 2023 Forester Wilderness?

Forester comes in six trim levels; The Base Forester starts at $27,620, Premium ($30,620), Sport ($32,190), Limited ($34,300), Wilderness ($35,245), and Touring ($37,720). Pricing includes destination and delivery fees ($1,225).
