How does Subaru connect a new generation with environmental sustainability? With a Tangerine Orange 2017 Subaru Forester.
Subaru Japan is out to help preserve the planet and it isn’t just in the U.S. National Parks they do this. In Japan, they just donated a 2017 Subaru Forester to help with the Mount Fuji beautification project. Their aim is draw attention to environmental sustainability. Visitors to Mt Fuji will see this Tangerine Orange Pearl 2017 Subaru Forester patrolling the highway.
Subaru donates 2017 Forester X-Break
Fuji Heavy Industries, maker of Subaru vehicles, donated a 2017 Forester X-Break to the Yamanashi Prefecture Highway management office for use as a patrol vehicle for the highway. It’s all part of “beautification and enlightenment” for the toll road that leads up to Mount Fuji. Subaru is no stranger to the toll road which opened in 1964 with another Subaru car, the Subaru 360, which was part of the opening ceremonies.
Special Subaru Forester will patrol the highway
Subaru and the 2017 Forester SUV was again given the honors to patrol the highway and bring public attention to the environment around Mount Fuji. The patrol car’s job will in part be for its social contribution activities and is intended to provide cooperation to environmental sustainability conservation activities in the surrounding area with a focus on the patrolling the Yamanashi Prefecture Highway.
In addition, Subaru will participate in the cleaning activities and beautification of the Mount Fuji and Fujikita recording area. Subaru donated 1 million yen to the activities funds.
The 2017 Forester X-Break is a model that was launched as a production model based on the “Forester X-BREAK" exhibited at the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show. It comes with special treatments on the outside to set it apart. It features specially equipped Silver roof rails and 17 in. dark silver aluminum alloy wheels with glitter cutting.
Subaru is all about bringing global attention to the environment. Visitors to Mt Fuji can’t miss the Tangerine Orange Pearl 2017 Subaru Forester patrolling the highway. They will use it to connect a new generation with environmental sustainability.
