A recent report says the Subaru Outback is one of the ten best used cars to buy now. If you can't find a 2022 Outback, check out the best place to find a used model.
With the new 2022 Subaru Outback models in limited supply, you might want to look for a used Subaru Outback. According to one source, the Subaru Outback is one of the ten best models for your shopping list. Autotrader recently named the 10 Best Used Cars of 2021 that are great alternatives to buying a new car. They say the 2016-2020 Subaru Outback is one model SUV shoppers should have on their list.
But where is the best place to find a used Outback? iSeeCars reveals the slowest-selling used cars in each state and found the Subaru Outback is now the slowest-selling used car in Alabama. It takes an average of 71.2 days for a used Outback midsize SUV to sell in the heart of Dixie.
iSeeCars.com found that overall, the average used car takes 34.6 days to sell across the U.S. With the Subaru Outback taking double the average, you can find a good deal on the midsize SUV.
Customers who don't mind going out of their way should check out dealers in Alabama. It's an excellent alternative to buying an Outback in a cold-weather region with high resale values.
According to Kelly Blue Book's (KBB) 2021 Best Resale Value Awards, the Subaru Outback has the highest resale value in the Midsize SUV 2-Row category. If you've tried to purchase a previously owned Outback, you know this is true. You will find the Outback costs more if you live in the Northeast, Rocky Mountains, or Pacific Northwest, where the brand is most popular.
How can you buy a used vehicle out of state?
A report from CarFax says, "Even though the vehicle is a fair distance away, never buy a used car sight unseen." You should get a vehicle history report and take the time to have a used vehicle inspected by a local mechanic who can evaluate its mechanical condition. They can alert you to any possible mechanical problems.
Many buyers will fly into the city and spend the time to check out the used vehicle thoroughly. After you purchase the car, you can drive it home. Or, if you have done your homework long distance, you can have it shipped to your home.
The 2022 Subaru Outback is a popular model, and you might have a hard time finding one this fall. If you choose a used model, you will pay top dollar and, in some areas, more than blue book value. If you buy a used Subaru Outback in Alabama, you could save some money.
