Mercedes-Benz will unveil the 2015 S-Class Coupe in concept form at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show in a few days.
Mercedes announces the sexy new Mercedes S-Class Coupe Concept that will make its global debut at the Frankfurt IAA next week. Via their global Facebook page, Mercedes leaked an image of their new 2015 S-Class Coupe ahead of the Frankfurt reveal and it's an exciting new S-Class model. They also gave a sneak peak video and preview of the show that will feature two new world premieres. It's been included below.
The new highly-anticipated 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is already growing into mythological status even before its launch. Never before has one Mercedes vehicle more truly epitomized “the best or nothing” philosophy that drives the Stuttgart automaker. Mercedes says the new S-Class is the product of blue-sky thinking and painstaking execution.
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe concept will be a production vehicle and has been seen testing in highly disguised form in Germany. The Coupe will be added to the S-Class lineup which will comprise five models. It will replace the CL and it looks like Mercedes will produce a sleeker, and sportier appearance for the new S-Class Coupe.
It will be a big week for Mercedes-Benz as they will also bring the new 2014 S 500 Plug-in hybrid that will achieve an incredible 94.2 mpg (European cycle) to the Frankfurt Auto Show. The new 2014 S 63 AMG along with the 2015 Mercedes GLA-Class premium compact SUV will also be making their world premiers at the show in Germany.
We can also look for Mercedes to add a convertible-based variant of the S-Class Coupe to the lineup which will be based on the Ocean Drive concept and an extra-long-wheelbase version under the 'Pullman' name.
Mercedes-Benz's new S-Class Coupe concept will make its world debut soon and the sporty model is expected to arrive in 2015 as a production vehicle. It will likely make its global debut at next year's Geneva motor show. Stay tuned to Torque News for all the latest Mercedes-Benz news.
