Subaru announces a new special limited edition 2016 Crosstrek. Do you like Pure Red? This crossover will grab your attention.
If you like red, get in line for the new Special Edition 2016 Subaru Crosstrek. Like the Sunrise Yellow Crosstrek that was launched last year, this Pure Red Special Edition 2016 Subaru Crosstrek will be exclusive. There will only be 1500 examples produced for Subaru of America, so it will be a limited production model and color. If you go to the Chicago Auto Show this week, you can be the first to see the Pure Red Special Edition model at the Subaru booth.
What else is special about this Crosstrek?
This Pure Red model is based on the 2.0i Premium. It comes with the “Pure Red” exterior color and matching foldable mirrors with integrated turn signals. On the inside, this limited edition Crosstrek gets Red stitching accents on the leather-wrapped shift lever handle, steering wheel and door panels. Other special features include interior dash trim with a red inlay, special “red” interior lighting casting a soft red glow onto the front floor area and storage space below the climate control.
Standard SE features
The special edition model includes the All-Weather Package (heated front seats, heated exterior mirrors and windshield wiper de-icer), Power Moonroof, Instrument Panel with color LCD, Keyless Access with Push-Button Start, and Blind Spot Detection / Rear Cross Traffic Alert System (which includes Lane Change Assist). The SUBARU STARLINK 6.2” multimedia system with a 6.2-in. single-touch gesture display also comes standard on the Special Edition.
Subaru attracts “Urban Adventurers”with Crosstrek
Subaru has been attracting record number of new buyers to the brand at a 60 percent clip in some markets. Part of the reason is the new colors that Subaru uses on the Crosstrek crossover. The all-wheel-drive crossover gets unique colors like Tangerine Orange Pearl, Desert Khaki, Sunshine Yellow and now Pure Red. These colors are attracting a younger more active buyer to the brand called urban adventurers. The new colors have proven to be popular with younger Crosstrek buyers, and they seem to have broad appeal too.
The Pure Red Special Edition 2016 Subaru Crosstrekwill begin arriving into retailers in late spring 2016. Pricing will be announced closer to dealer launch. If you like Pure Red, get in line for this limited edition Crosstrek.
