Which car brands give customers the best overall buying experience? A new Reputation report says Subaru customers are the happiest during and after they purchase a 2022 Forester, Outback, Crosstrek, and other new models.
Subaru has experienced several issues affecting its customers, like inventory challenges of finding a new 2022 Forester, Outback, Crosstrek, and other models due to the global supply chain and rising costs of both new and used vehicles. But the car industry issues have not affected Subaru's reputation with its customers.
Reputation, the global leader in reputation experience management, revealed findings from its annual automotive industry report and found Subaru is the number one car brand in keeping customers happy. The top five mainstream (non-luxury) cars brands in the 2022 Automotive Reputation rankings are number one, Subaru (698 points), followed by Mitsubishi (689), Toyota (679), Nissan (675), and Honda (667).

Subaru also had two of the top twenty-five U.S. dealers in the new report from Reputation. West Herr Subaru was the leading dealer at number even overall, and Brilliance Subaru scored number fourteen on the best dealer list.

The top U.S. Luxury car brands in this year's Reputation rankings are Lexus (749), Infinity (728), BMW (696), Porsche (681), and Acura (670).
Subaru moves up to number one in customer satisfaction
Subaru moves to the top and now ranks number one after scoring the number two non-luxury car brand in the U.S. in the Reputation 2021 Automotive Report rankings. The top five brands last year were Nissan, Subaru, Honda, Mitsubishi, and Toyota.
Reputation says they analyzed over 35,000 car dealerships globally; 20,000 auto dealers in the U.S. and Canada, 15,000 dealers in Europe, and five million auto dealer ratings and reviews.
How is Subaru doing during a challenging year with new model inventory shortages? Subaru delivers a positive resale online digital experience and good customer service during and after the sale. Subaru is also managing the inventory shortage well and not overpricing its new 2022 Forester, Outback, Crosstrek, and other models. Subaru's customer satisfaction ranks number one among mainstream car brands.
