The all-new 2020 Subaru Outback is coming this summer. Subaru has a new configurator for customers to see which trim is right for you.
The all-new seventh-generation 2020 Subaru is coming soon, but which trim is best for you? Subaru just put up a new 2020 Outback configurator tool so you can check out the seven different trim levels with standard features, color selection, and images of each 2020 model change. Outback will be available in Base, Premium, Limited, Touring, and three new turbo models, Onyx Edition XT, Limited XT, and Touring XT models.
Many customers will likely opt for the new 2020 Outback Onyx Edition XT trim featuring black-finish exterior elements, 18-inch alloy wheels and badging, and a gray two-tone interior. For active customers, seats are wrapped in a new water-repellant durable StarTex material for weekend off-road adventures.
The Onyx Edition XT also gets a hands-free power gate, front view monitor and, for increased capability in a wider range of environmental conditions, exclusive Dual-Mode X-MODE, and full-size spare tire.
The biggest news for the 2020 model change is the addition of the three new Outback XT turbocharged models with the Ascent-sourced FA24 2.4-liter 260-hp four-cylinder Boxer engine under the hood. Subaru axed the six-cylinder 3.6R model in favor of the more powerful XT with improved fuel mileage. Manufacturer’s estimated fuel economy is 23/30 mpg city/highway for the turbo. Outback now also comes with 3,500-lb. towing capacity, an increase from the previous 2,700-lb. rating.
Subaru Outback is the flagship model here in the U.S. and is the brand’s best-selling all-wheel-drive vehicle in the stable. It’s coming with a number of new features for customers who have waited for the all-new seventh-generation SUV/Crossover. The 2020 Subaru Outback will arrive at showrooms this September, with pricing announced closer to dealer launch. Stay tuned.

Forester e-boxer not coming to USA (California in particular) ?
Is Subaru crazy? Top competitors like Toyota and Honda will introduce the RAV4 Hybrid and the CR-V Hybrid this fall respectively! Is Subaru backing off because they think the e-boxer is not up to the challenge? If so, they better revise their attitude because they will lose sales and lose customers!

I’ll bet it also includes more if people comment on your almost-flame-bait seed comment to your own article.
I love that the Subaru
I love that the Subaru Outback offers auto dimming side mirrors---very important to me as I drive lots at night. It's not even an option on many competitors in this price range. Way to go Subaru! I wish they offered rain sensing wipers and front parking sensors. I'll take sensors over a camera any day as they work better in bad weather and you don't have to look at a screen. Also, the 2020 Outback should offer the same colours in the Touring XT as the Limited XT.
When is Subaru going to widen
When is Subaru going to widen there exteriors colors? The nice ORANGE color should be available all over. What about "Plum Crazy" (Dodge,) LIME, and other (eccentric colors.)
