The 2017 Nissan Frontier gets a small price bump and a new S Work Truck Package. It’s still the old Frontier with a few enhancements for 2017.
Nissan announced today U.S. pricing for the 2017 Nissan Frontier mid-size pickup. It gets a small price bump of $100 and has a starting MSRP of $18,390 plus destination and handling ($940) for the base Frontier S King Cab 4x2 I4 5MT.
The Frontier has experienced an incredible 47 percent increase in sales this year even in its aging condition. Frontier is getting long in the tooth, but it hasn’t slowed sales this fall. The 2017 Nissan Frontier isn’t out yet, and the 2016 model is still selling like crazy. Strong sales should continue for the 2017 model before Frontier gets a remodel in 2018. It should be a major player when it arrives.
What’s new for 2017?
There’s not many changes for 2017. Enhancements for 2017 include the addition of a new Frontier S Work Truck Package. It features a spray-in bedliner, bed rail caps, splash guards and rubber floor mats. Frontier S grade also now features a body-color rear bumper which was previously chrome.
