Just in time for the solar eclipse today, Nissan rolls out new 2018 Frontier and Titan Midnight Editions.
As the day gets dark with the solar eclipse, Nissan rolls out new 2018 Frontier mid-size pickups and Titan full-size trucks in new Midnight Edition models. The trucks are manufactured in Tennessee where the eclipse will be total today. The custom models will include Titan full-size pickups, Titan XD and Frontier Midnight Editions.
Nissan says tMidnight Editions like the Rogue Midnight Edition launched earlier this year, sell on average two times faster than standard models. Midnight Edition models also include the Altima, Maxima, Murano, Pathfinder, and Sentra models.
Nissan says, “Following the tremendous response to the original Maxima SR Midnight Edition, we’ve created a complete portfolio of the popular blacked-out Midnight Edition look among our core Nissan sedan, crossover and SUV models,” said Billy Hayes, division vice president, Nissan Sales, Nissan North America.
For the 2018 Frontier, the Midnight Edition package includes a gloss-black grille, 18-inch gloss-black aluminum-alloy wheels, semi-gloss-black step rails, body-color front and rear bumpers, black outside rearview mirrors and door handles, black badging and available Midnight Edition floor mats. It is available in Crew Cab SV 4x2 and 4x4 automatic transmission models and in a choice of Magnetic Black, Gun Metallic and Glacier White exterior colors.
So as the solar eclipse darkens the sun, Nissan rolls out new 2018 Frontier mid-size pickups and Titan full-size trucks in new Midnight Edition models. Pricing has not been announced, but the trucks will be available late fall 2017. Stay tuned.
