It could be the longest vehicle name in the history of autos, but it’s a cool off-road concept vehicle using the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport as the platform. It's coming to SEMA 2017.
It’s called the Hyundai Rockstar Energy Moab Extreme Off-roader Santa Fe Sport Concept. That’s a mouthful, and it could be the longest vehicle name ever to be attached to any vehicle. It’s coming to the SEMA show 2017 and it was just announced by Hyundai.
Hyundai says it will withstand the ultimate demands of extreme off-roading in Moab, Utah where off-roaders test the limits of their custom vehicles. Nic Ashby, Rockstar Marketing says, “Leveraging the outstanding Santa Fe Sport platform and powertrain, we definitely pushed its capabilities to new limits to conquer the pinnacle of challenges at Moab.”
This ultimate off-road SUV comes packed with plenty of aftermarket equipment. It gets 6-piston front and 4-piston rear big brake kit, Coil-over Suspension and 2.5” Internal Bypass shocks with reservoirs, 17-inch Machete off-road bead-lock wheels, Mickey Thompson 35x12.50R17 Baja MTZ off-road tires, OEM upgraded headlights and taillights, Mishimoto Intercooler, Downpipe, Rockstar Energy Catch Can, and a Coolant Overflow Reservoir just to name a few upgrades.
Hyundai is making quite a push in the U.S. and is gaining a big market share in America beating best-selling automakers: GM, Ford Motor, Toyota Motor Sales and FCA. The SEMA Show will be another place for the South Korean automaker to showcase their new Santa Fe Sport. This time in an extreme off-road platform.
The SEMA Show takes place October 31 through November 3, 2017 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The South Korean automaker will showcase their new Santa Fe Sport with the longest name ever, Rockstar Energy Moab Extreme Off-roader Concept vehicle.
