Subaru announced what could be its most significant new launch since the Subaru Forester. Subaru Forager Granola is coming to a store near you.

Subaru is often made fun of because many customers wear Birkenstock sandals, put stickers on their cars, and eat granola. And Subaru caters to these individuals in a big way. The Camden N.J. automaker now offers the Outback Wilderness trim level so customers can get further off the grid and away from the ordinary. Who wants to be normal?

Now, Subaru of America (SOA) is stepping up for its more active customers in a big way. The automaker announced they would offer customers in the U.S. a tasty granola treat. SOA says the Subaru Forager Granola is coming to a store near you. What other automaker does so much for its customers?

Subaru says, "For those who like their snacks to be as crunchy as they are, Subaru is entering the granola business. The closest thing you'll find to eating compost for breakfast, Subaru Forager Granola is a companion snack to power you through life's crunchiest pursuits. The ultimate driver's seat treat (ignore the crumbs), Forager can power even the busiest days, whether you're scouting out trees to hug, talking to plants, or searching for a spot for your latest bumper sticker."

Subaru says its newest launch, Forager Granola, blends wholesome grains, nuts, dried fruits, and the promise of the open road, offering all of the goodness of nature in one tasty package. They warn customers that it may also contain dog hair, but don't worry, "it should come off with a lint roller," says the automaker.

Because each journey is unique, Subaru reveals Forager is customizable with any ingredients. Subaru recommends fresh steam from Old Faithful, crunchy macrobiotic twigs, "and even (maybe?) those berries you found in the woods."

"And with 100% Recycled Good Vibes packaging, consumers can eat Subaru Forager Granola and feel good about their environmental footprint. Empty bags can be placed right back into the earth. As they break down, you'll be putting good vibes back into the soil of your local community," Subaru says.

Subaru Forager Granola was set to launch on April 1, but because this is an April Fool's Day joke (haha), it won't be hitting grocery shelves or your local Subaru retailer soon.

Subaru says, "But for all those living on the crunchier side of life, we will always be there to fuel your trip. So stay crunchy, and April Fool's!"

Stay tuned for Subaru's next new launch (no joke) on April 5, 2023. It's an all-new Wilderness trim level to join the Outback and Forester Wilderness family of outdoor-themed vehicles. Spoiler alert; it's the new Crosstrek Wilderness. Too bad you won't be able to buy Forager Granola to take along the trail with it!
