Subaru Forester Is On An Impressive 5-Month Run And Gets Hotter With Age

Subaru of America has a surprise hot model, and it's getting hotter. Check out the results of the Forester. It's getting hotter before the next-generation model arrives.

The Subaru Forester's numbers are beyond impressive before the all-new 2025 model arrives. As I reported last week, Subaru of America only had three models that were up in percentage of increase in November compared with the same period in 2022. And the Forester is the hottest model for SOA.

The Subaru Forester is again the top model and has been the top seller for five consecutive months. It beats the remodeled Crosstrek, which is also hot. But not as hot as the Forester. And it's the aging Forester that is at the top again.

As I reported in July, August, September, and October, the Subaru Forester compact SUV is again the number-one selling all-wheel-drive model for Subaru of America. Forester is on a roll before the next-gen models arrive.

How hot is the Forester?

Forester was the top performer by volume in November, with 15,089 model sales and an increase of 63.8 percent over November 2022. Forester had the highest percentage of growth of any Subaru model

There were 15,089 Forester models delivered to customers in November compared with 9,211 in November 2022. Forester is now up 36.1 percent in the first eleven months of 2023. Forester has 136,913 models sold in 2023, remaining in third place and inches closer to the new Crosstrek.

Forester is now just 6,481 model sales behind the all-new remodeled Crosstrek subcompact SUV.

The 2024 Subaru Forester received another impressive reliability award from Consumer Reports, which I recently reported on. CR released its 10 Most Reliable Cars annual results, and the Forester is a top pick.

What does Consumer Reports say about the 2024 Subaru Forester?

The Forester is ranked the #1 of 27 Compact SUVs by CR. The Forester's strengths are its fuel economy, roomy interior, excellent outward visibility, and easy-to-use controls.

What is the price of the 2024 Forester? Here is the pricing for customers looking to buy the 2024 model year.

The Forester comes in six trim levels: The Base Forester starts at $28,190, Premium ($31,390), Sport ($32,960), Limited ($35,070), Wilderness ($36,015), and Touring ($38,490). Pricing includes destination and dealer fees ($1,295).

Troy Poston, Senior Vice President of Sales. "Car buyers have much to look forward to, including the 2025 Forester, which we recently debuted at the LA Auto Show. We're excited for the spring availability of that sixth-generation SUV offering with its most advanced features, modern design, and improved ride comfort."

The 2024 Subaru Forester is still going strong ahead of the arrival of the next-generation 2025 Forester. And the Forester is getting hotter with age. Will the compact SUV be the number one selling model for Subaru of America? There is one month to go. Stay tuned.

Hello Denis,

Have you seen the Top 20 Fastest-Selling "Used" Cars study that iSeeCars did? Not ONE Subaru is on that list. And I can tell you that there are plenty of used Subaru's at the dealerships where I live.
