Subaru announced a partially improved 2023 Subaru BRZ. It could be the most insignificant improvement we've ever seen on a new model.
Since we cover all things Subaru, check out what Subaru Corporation announced this week. The 2023 Subaru will get an insignificant improvement for the next-generation BRZ sports coupe even though it's all-new.
The 2022 BRZ received a complete remodel with significant upgrades for the engine, chassis, body, and suspension. The second-generation BRZ has been exceptionally well received by driving enthusiasts, and the new BRZ is sold out in the U.S. and other global markets.

The new rear-drive sports car doesn't need any changes yet, but Subaru must have made a minor mistake with the operability of the BRZ's lighting switch and the operation of the sports car's sidelight and taillight.
Subaru says they need to make changes to the lighting switch, and the announcement says, "We reviewed the operability of the lighting switch, and the vehicle side light and tail light and Off position was changed from 1 position to 2 positions by separating the vehicle sidelight/tail light and Off.”

The change is so insignificant, and we are surprised that Subaru Corporation would announce the upgrade for the 2023 BRZ. We know there isn't much news coming from the Japanese automaker, and it could be they need the press coverage with all the negative news about the Japanese automaker.
When will the 2023 Subaru BRZ arrive in the U.S.?
Orders for 2023 Subaru BRZ are now open, with customers able to secure their new vehicle through their local Subaru Retailer.
A source close to Subaru told us that customers who order a 2023 BRZ today should expect a six-month wait to get the 2023 model year. You should act soon if you want the next-generation BRZ, as 2023 models could sell out quickly.
What is the 2023 BRZ price?
The 2023 Subaru BRZ just received a $35 price increase as of April 26, 2022. BRZ Premium with a 6-speed manual gearbox has a starting price of $28,990. BRZ Premium with an automatic transmission starts at $30,590. The Limited (6-speed manual) has a starting MSRP of $31,490. The Limited with an automatic transmission starts at $33,290. All pricing includes destination and delivery fees ($995).
Newly announced 2023 BRZ awards
There is good news surrounding the BRZ. Subaru and the IIHS recently announced that the 2023 BRZ gets its first-ever Top Safety PIck+ designation in crash protection due to BRZ getting the EyeSight safety technology.
2023 BRZ (automatic transmission) models include Subaru's EyeSight driver-assist system. The system consists of adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking, lane departure, sway warning, and lead vehicle start alert. The automatic transmission option also adds high beam assist to both trim levels.
It's the most negligible new model correction we've ever seen, but the 2023 Subaru BRZ gets a new sidelight and taillight-off position upgrade.
