Subaru of America raised prices on all models except for one model, with the 2022 Subaru Forester, Outback, and Crosstrek getting the highest price hikes. Here is the new Subaru pricing on all new models.
We reported last week that Subaru of America put up a banner on its website saying they would raise prices on all models by $500 after April 26, 2022. Now the banner has been removed with no explanation of a price hike. We checked all new model pricing on Subaru of America's model website and found all new models have received a price increase and some more than $500.
The refreshed 2022 Subaru Forester compact SUV, 2022 Outback midsize SUV, and 2022 Crosstrek subcompact SUV prices have gone up the most. They are now $750 more on every trim level, including a $50 increase in destination and delivery fees. Check out the new model pricing for each 2022 model and trim level below.

2022 Subaru Forester
The 2022 Forester comes in six trim levels; The Base Forester starts at $27,070, Premium ($30,070), Sport ($31,640), Limited ($33,750), new Wilderness ($34,695), and Touring ($37,170). Pricing includes destination and delivery fees ($1,175).
2022 Subaru Outback
The 2022 Outback comes in eight trim levels; the base trim is priced from $28,820, Premium ($31,020), Limited ($35,470), Touring ($39,370), Onyx Edition XT ($37,020), new for 2022, Outback Wilderness ($38,870), Limited XT ($39,870), and Touring XT ($41,820). Pricing includes $1,175 destination and
delivery fees.
2022 Crosstrek Pricing
The 2022 Subaru Crosstrek comes in five trim levels for customers. The base trim is priced from $24,320, Premium ($25,470), Sport ($28,670), Limited ($30,170) and Crosstrek Hybrid ($37,520). Prices include destination and delivery fees that increase ($1,175).
2022 Subaru Ascent
The 2022 Subaru Ascent base starts at $33,970, and Premium trims begin at $36,470. The new Ascent Onyx Edition starts at $39,670. The upper Limited starts at $41,270, and the top-trim Touring has a starting MSRP of $47,120. Pricing includes destination fees ($1,175).
2022 Subaru Impreza
The 2022 Impreza comes in four trim levels for customers. The seven different models come in base sedan ($20,290), base hatchback ($20,790) Premium sedan ($23,690), Premium hatchback ($24,190), Sport sedan ($25,090), Sport hatchback ($24,490), and Limited hatchback ($27,890). Destination and delivery ($995) are included in the prices above.
2022 Subaru WRX
The 2022 WRX 6-speed manual trim level starts at $30,600. The WRX with Subaru Performance Transmission (SPT) is $32,450, WRX Premium 6-speed manual is $33,100, WRX Premium SPT is $35,150, WRX Limited 6-speed manual is $37,490, WRX Limited SPT is $39,740, and WRX GT is $43,390. Pricing includes destination and deliver fees ($995).
2022 Subaru Legacy
The 2022 Legacy sedan comes in six trim levels. We have included the price increase on each trim after the new pricing. The 2022 midsize sedan starts at $24,490 for the base trim, Premium ($26,740), Sport ($30,285), Limited ($31,440), Limited XT ($35,990), and Touring XT ($37,690). Destination and delivery fees are included in the pricing above ($995).
2022 Subaru BRZ
The new 2022 Subaru BRZ Premium with a 6-speed manual gearbox has a starting price of $28,990. BRZ Premium with an automatic transmission starts at $30,590. The Limited (6-speed manual) has a starting MSRP of $31,490. The Limited with an automatic transmission starts at $33,290. All pricing includes destination and delivery fees ($995).
2022 Subaru Solterra pricing did not change on April 26, 2022.
The 2023 Solterra comes in three trim levels, Premium, Limited, and Touring. Pricing for the Solterra Premium trim level starts at $46,220. The Limited trim carries a starting manufacturer's suggested retail price of $49,720. The top-of-the-line Touring trim is priced from $53,220. Prices include destination and delivery fees ($1,225).
The new 2022 Subaru model prices started with customer orders placed on April 26, 2022. The website now reflects the recent price increase if you build a new 2022 Forester, Outback, Crosstrek, or another new all-wheel-drive model on Subaru of America's configurator.
