Subaru Corporation released its new model production and export numbers. It's good news for Crosstrek, Outback, and Forester customers. Check out the report here.
Subaru Corporation says they have ramped up its new vehicle production at its Gunma Japan factory and its U.S. factory in Lafayette, Indiana. That's good news for new car shoppers looking for a 2023 Subaru Forester compact SUV, an all-new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek subcompact SUV, a 2023 Subaru Outback midsize SUV, or a new 2024 Subaru Impreza compact hatchback.
Subaru announced its new model production and export numbers in its Japanese factories. New vehicle production increased 22.4 percent in February, the first increase in two months. Subaru makes the U.S.-specification 2023 Subaru Forester, all-new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Base and Premium trims, and the new 2024 Subaru Impreza compact hatchback.
Subaru also announced its new model production and export numbers in its U.S. factory. According to the report, new vehicle production increased 37.2 percent in February, the first increase in four months. Subaru makes the all-new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Sport and Limited trims, 2024 Subaru Outback (coming this fall), 2023 Subaru Ascent, and 2023 Subaru Legacy at Subaru of Indiana Automotive.
The all-new 2024 Crosstrek Sport and Limited trim levels, now built in Lafayette, Indiana, will arrive this summer for U.S. customers. Subaru discontinued the Crosstrek Plug-In Hybrid for the 2024 model year. Instead, look for new hybrid models coming in 2025.
Subaru Corporation says exports from Japan increased 9.4 percent in February, the first increase in two months. This means more Forester compact SUVs, new Crosstrek subcompact SUVs, and new 2024 Impreza hatchbacks are coming to U.S. customers.
Customers in the U.S. will see the all-new 2024 Crosstrek Base and Premium trim levels arrive this spring. In addition, the all-new 2024 Impreza hatchback will also arrive on U.S. shores this spring.
