Subaru released its new 2022 Corporate Impact Report. What does it mean for new model customers who buy a Subaru Crosstrek, Outback, Forester, or other new models?
Subaru of America (SOA) released its new Corporate Impact Report, detailing how they share the love with their customers, employees, environment, and community for the fifth year. How does it impact new model customers of the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek, Outback, Forester, or other new models?
“We’d like to thank our retailers, employees, partners, and the entire Subaru family for helping us achieve and exceed our impact goals in 2022, as well as for inspiring us to accomplish even more together in the future,” said Tadashi ‘Tady’ Yoshida, Chairman and CEO of Subaru of America.
What is the Subaru Love Promise?
The Subaru Love Promise is the Japanese automaker’s focal point of the report, extending into five pillars: Subaru Loves to Care, Subaru Loves the Earth, Subaru Loves to Help, Subaru Loves Learning, and Subaru Loves Pets.
Subaru points to the milestones reached in 2022 that include more than $1.9 million in philanthropic gifts to nonprofits in the Camden, New Jersey community where SOA is based and over 10,000 hours employees spent volunteering across the nation.
“At Subaru, we take it to heart when saying we are More Than a Car Company, and know it comes with the responsibility of living out our pledge with a commitment to improving the world around us,” said Jeff Walters, President, and COO of Subaru of America.
Subaru says they are more than a car company, but what does that mean for customers?
Subaru will support nonprofit groups in the area where you live.
The annual Subaru Share, the Love Event, reached the 15-year milestone of $256 million donated to national charities where you live. More than 70 percent of SOA employees volunteered 10,000+ hours in 2022. Most SOA employees (over 70 percent) participated in company-sponsored volunteering efforts in 2022, achieving 10,000+ volunteer hours.
Subaru commitment to its customers.
Subaru says customers experience a difference when they purchase a new Subaru vehicle. Safety is a significant core value for the Japanese automaker. Four new Subaru models earned the highest Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and two as a Top Safety Pick in 2022.
All Subaru vehicles earned a ‘Superior’ rating in front crash prevention from the IIHS when equipped with its EyeSight driver assist technology.
Subaru is committed to offering more new electric models.
The Subaru Corporate Impact Report says they sold all available Subaru Solterra models, the company’s first fully electric vehicle, produced in 2022. It demonstrates progress toward its goal to electrify 100 percent of Subaru vehicles by 2035.
