Watch retired GM engineer and multiple SCCA national champion, John Heinricy, deliver a new 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE with the Exorcist 1000 bhp upgrade to its owner. He gets the 1000hp ZL1 1LE up to 130 mph on a short course at the Hennessey Performance shop’s test track in Sealy, Texas and the owner is impressed.
"The Exorcist” Chevy Camaro ZL1 is a street legal package built around the 6th generation Camaro ZL1, with Hennessey's special performance modifications which dials up the output to 1000 horsepower. It will do the quarter mile in sub 10-seconds. This is one lucky guy who gets to take this ride home.
Heinricy knows how to drive and takes the hot Chevy Camaro on the narrow test road at high speeds with the owner grinning from ear-to-ear. The sound of the Chevy ZL1 1LE is amazing and can be heard in the video below.

John Hennessey recently unveiled the new 2018 Chevy Camaro ZL1 1LE Exorcist at SEMA 2017 where it was a big hit. The new owner, “Joey” says after the quick ride, “Oh my God, unbelievable, probably one of the most exciting things I’ve ever done.” He finishes with, “I can’t wait to get on the road and enjoy it!”
