Subaru Corporation says they have ramped up its new vehicle production again at its Gunma Japan factory and its U.S. factory in Lafayette, Indiana. That's good news for new car shoppers looking for an all-new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek subcompact SUV or a next-generation 2024 Subaru Impreza compact hatchback.
Subaru announced its new model production and export numbers in its Japanese factories. New vehicle production increased 42.0 percent in March, the second month of consecutive increase. Subaru makes the U.S.-specification 2023 Subaru Forester, all-new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Base and Premium trims, and the new 2024 Subaru Impreza compact hatchback at the Japanese factory.
Subaru also announced its new model production and export numbers in its U.S. factory. According to the report, new vehicle production increased 35.7 percent in March, the second month of a consecutive increase. Subaru makes the all-new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Sport and Limited trims, 2024 Subaru Outback (coming this fall), 2023 Subaru Ascent, and 2023 Subaru Legacy at Subaru of Indiana Automotive.
The all-new 2024 Crosstrek Sport, Limited, and Crosstrek Wilderness trim levels, now built in Lafayette, Indiana, will arrive this summer, and Wilderness will arrive this fall for U.S. customers. In addition, Subaru discontinued the Crosstrek Plug-In Hybrid for the 2024 model year. Instead, look for new hybrid models coming in 2025.

Subaru Corporation says exports from Japan increased 92.7 percent in March, the second month of consecutive increase. This means more Forester compact SUVs, the new 2024 Crosstrek Base and Premium subcompact SUVs, and new 2024 Impreza hatchbacks are coming to U.S. customers.

Subaru Corp. says the fiscal year new model export total, which ended in March, was up 26.5 percent. It was the first year-over-year increase in three years. New Subaru inventory should improve in 2023.
Customers in the U.S. will see the all-new 2024 Crosstrek Base and Premium trim levels arrive this spring. In addition, the all-new 2024 Impreza hatchback will also arrive on U.S. shores this spring.
What is the price of the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek?
For 2024, the Crosstrek will be available in Base, Premium, Sport, and Limited trim levels and has a starting price of $26,290 (the same MSRP as the 2023 Base model equipped with the Lineartronic CVT automatic transmission).
The 2024 Crosstrek Premium has a starting price of $27,440, Sport ($30,290), and Limited ($32,190). Pricing includes destination and delivery fees ($1,225).
The Premium trim price increased by +$70, the Sport +$1,070, and Limited +$1,470.
What is the price of the 2024 Subaru Impreza?
The 2024 Subaru Impreza Base hatchback starts at $24,085, the Sport hatch starts at $26,085, and the all-new RS hatch with the 2.5-liter Boxer engine has a starting price of $28,975. Pricing includes destination and delivery fees ($1,090).
The completely remodeled 2024 Impreza offers exceptional value. The Base hatchback price increased by $1,470. The Sport trim level price dropped $30, and the RS is all new for 2024, so there's no previous generation model for comparison. Dealer fees increased by $70.
Subaru Corporation released its new model production and export numbers. It's good news for Crosstrek, Outback, Forester, and Impreza customers as Subaru ramps up production of its new models for the second consecutive month. As a result, wait times for the new models should improve.
