Usain Bolt gets gold again in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Will he add a new gold 2017 Nissan GT-R to his collection?
After he won the Gold medal in the 100 meter in London in 2012, Usain Bold was presented with a special gold 2014 Nissan GT-R. Now that he is the only man to get three consecutive 100 meter wins in the Olympics, will he get a new gold 2017 Nissan GT-R for his accomplishment?
After the London games, Nissan wanted to give a one-off "Bolt Gold" 2014 Nissan GT-R to Usain Bolt in appreciation for his contributions as a Nissan brand ambassador. It was a unique GT-R bathed in exclusive gold paint. There was more than just the gold exterior.
Back in 2013, it was love at first sight for Bolt when the one-of-a-kind "Bolt Gold" GT-R was unveiled for him in his home country of Jamaica. The uniquely gold-painted Nissan GT-R had a number of custom features designed just for Bolt and to his liking. It came with a flamboyant white interior to match his personality, BOSE audio system and 10-spoke RAYS aluminum-alloy forged wheels.
The specially fitted, hyper-titanium color-coated wheels, exclusive "Spec Bolt" emblem on the exterior, visual specs of the car, exterior color, interior color and wheels, were all selected by Bolt himself. Bolt was presented the car at Bolt's home training facility in Jamaica that overlooks the mountains in his home country.
Will Usain Bolt add a new “Bolt Gold” 2017 Nissan GT-R to his collection along with his third 100 meter Olympic Gold medal from Rio? Stay tuned.
