The all-new 2020 Hyundai Venue is the smallest entry-level SUV in Hyundai’s lineup. It starts at $17,350 and comes with some excellent little features like an 8” screen with Apple Carplay & Android Auto. You also get Lane Keep Assist & Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist. The Venue gets powered by a modest 1.6l four-cylinder producing 121 HP & 113 LB. FT. of torque.
It’s an excellent and compelling choice in the small SUV market and has already won awards for its interior. The Denim trim, which starts at $22,050, was named the best interior by Wards and was chosen amongst 32 competitors. An impressive feat for the subcompact Venue, this means the Venue is punching above its weight class.
Recently, NACTOY has elected the 2020 Hyundai Venue to be a candidate in its 2021 Utility vehicle of the year award. It’s a prestigious honor for any manufacturer to be named car of the year by NACTOY, so it is great to see the little Venue compete for this title as it shows just how far Hyundai has come.
It’s nice to see Hyundai’s quality being recognized and appreciated. A cute interior with a terrible powertrain. I really don't like the SUV-ish vehicles, with FWD only powertrains. Add in a wimpy 1.6NA. This Venue can duke it out with the Kicks for the award, but truly neither is a good drive.
