Despite the Hyundai Palisade being one of Hyundai’s most expensive products, it still sells like crazy.
The Hyundai Palisade is essentially a flagship product for Hyundai. There are a few Randoms that have a higher starting price than the Palisade like the exclusive hydrogen Nexo and some plug-in hybrids. But with a starting price of $32,525 and the fully-loaded AWD Palisades coming in nearly $50k, it’s not cheap.
Why Does the Hyundai Palisade Sell So Well?
So why does the Palisade keep selling so well? In August 2020, Hyundai sold a total of 58,361 units. The Palisade accounted for 7,983 units. I will leave the sales figures below, but this is up there with cheaper counterparts such as the Elantra, Kona, Santa Fe, Tucson, etc.
Despite the world being in the state that it is in, the new car buying public can’t get enough of this colossal 3-row SUV. In July 2020, Hyundai moved 8,404 Palisades, so what could be the cause? Well, Hyundai did a great job of maintaining sales throughout the pandemic because they offered 0% financing and deferred payments, so that helped. Hyundai is currently offering 2.9% for 60 months on the Palisade and leases out for $359 a month with $3,499 (other tax, fees, etc. may apply). Those numbers make this massive vehicle much more obtainable.
Hyundai Palisade Sales Conclusion
And let’s be honest, people can’t drive these days, so a big massive safe SUV makes families feel at ease. Hyundai also has the best warranty in the game, and dynamically, Hyundai still offers a V6 in this class, not some dinky four-cylinder turbo. The buying public is also coming to release the quality of new Hyundai products; they release Hyundai is not what it used to be several years ago. With all the features you get as standard with a new Hyundai, it becomes a no brainer for most.

Had a 2014 Toyota Highlander
Had a 2014 Toyota Highlander that I thought was the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Looked at the new 2020 redesigned Highlander and was disappointed. The Palisade is the first Hyundai I’ve ever owned. In every aspect it met orexceeded the Toyota . Great vehicle.
The 2020 Palisade has a lot
The 2020 Palisade has a lot of flaws with it and the #1 is the noise/wind issue. You really need to do your research and see what the problems is. Hyundai is aware of it, but not sure how or what is causing it and the vehicle is on the TSB. It could be a recall if they can fix it. There are over 300 complaints on the issue and this vehicle cost a lot to be making wind/whistle while driving. Not good!

I have had my Palisade for 9
I have had my Palisade for 9 months and have had No issues. I did my research and have talked to several dealership service managers and the wind noise issue is rare if at all . You make it sound like it’s a pandemic. There won’t be a “ Safety “ recall because it doesn’t affect vehicle safety.
