As the November 30 delivery date approaches, Tesla has started displaying Cybertrucks at showrooms across the country. These Cybertrucks have impeccable build quality and prove Elon Musk’s sub-10-micron level Cybertruck build accuracy.
It’s been a long time coming but, the Cybertruck appears to finally be ready to start customer deliveries. Currently, Tesla has scheduled the first Cybertruck delivery event for November 30.
Tesla says, at the event, the EV maker will be handing over the “first 10 Cybertrucks” to customers.
After years of working on the truck behind closed doors, in the past few months, we have seen a flurry of Cybertruck activity, and hundreds of Cybertruck prototypes have also hit the street.
This has allowed us to get countless information about the Cybertruck including the Cbyertruck’s 287-mile range, new stunning “Cyber user interface”, 4 wheel steering and steer-by-wire variable dynamic steering ratio, and many more details.

All the Cybertruck sightings have been exciting however, as the truck finally approaches delivery, Tesla should start treating the Cybertruck as it would any other Tesla vehicle which means, rather than relying on spy shots and public sightings, Tesla should start showing off the vehicle to potential customers.
And that’s exactly what the EV maker did today. According to multiple online reports, Tesla has started displaying Cybertrucks across showrooms in the US.
Currently, we’ve information that Tesla is displaying a Cybertruck at the San Diego Tesla store and the San Jose showrooms in California. These are the 2 Tesla stores confirmed to have a Cybertruck however, we expect the trend to continue throughout other Tesla stores in the US.
This on its own is extremely exciting however, the build quality of some of the display Cybertrucks is actually what is the show stopper.
At this time, it appears that the display Cybertrucks at both showrooms are white interior Cybertrucks with white dashboards and liners.
The relative rarity of white interior Cybertrucks makes the vehicles even more precious however, as I said, what’s more impressive is the build quality of both vehicles.
According to multiple videos of these display Cybertruck prototypes posted online, you can see the vehicles have immaculate build quality. The fit and finish appear to be on the spot throughout the vehicle.
Panel gaps are consistent and minimal across the board. Edges align properly, and the fit and finish of these vehicles are actually so consistent, that it feels as though the Cybertrucks were carved out from a single big chunk of metal.
There has been a lot said about Tesla’s build quality. Over the years, the EV maker has greatly improved in this front however, a few Cybertruck prototypes with fit and finish issues have brought Tesla build quality issues to the forefront.
Last month, after he test-drove a Cybertruck Performance with noticeable build quality issues, Elon Musk called on Tesla employees to improve Cybertruck tolerance to sub-10-micron level accuracy.
As you can see, in the impeccable build quality on the new Cybertruck display vehicles, the Tesla engineers appear to have responded to Musk’s call.
These two Cybertrucks are in addition to another beautiful Cybertruck displayed in front of the 30th annual Baron investment conference which also had similar beautiful fit and finish.
This means, so far we at least have 3 Cybertruck with impeccable build quality. Yes, when we’re talking about a production capacity of 250,000 Cybertrucks per year, the build quality of a few display vehicles might not seem that important, however, it’s at least a great start.
Currently, this is all the information we’ve regarding the Cybertrucks displayed at Tesla stores however, we’ll be sure to keep you posted as we get more information about the issue. Until then, make sure to visit our site torquenews.com/Tesla regularly for the latest updates.
So what do you think? Excited to see Cybertruck prototypes starting to hit Tesla showrooms across the US? What do you make of the impeccable build quality of these vehicles? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
