A Tesla Cybertruck gets bricked and locks the owner out on the highway. The owner is frustrated; however, Tesla fans say, “You should have left the door open.”
A distressed Tesla Cybertruck owner from Missouri, Inger Brane, recently reached out to fellow Cybertruck owners online after his truck died, leaving him stranded in the middle of the road.
Not only that, Inger got out of his Cybertruck to assess the problem. Unfortunately, his truck became completely bricked at that time, making it impossible for him to reenter the vehicle.
Inger shared his predicament with the Cybertruck Owners Only group on Facebook.
Here is what he wrote…
“My truck just died in the middle of the road. No power, and I am locked out. How do I get back inside?”
It’s bad enough when a vehicle stops working in the middle of the road; however, being completely locked out and unable to access the inside is a whole another level of inconvenience.
Having said that, although the situation sounds bad, it could’ve gone even worse. If Inger had left his phone in his truck, he would have been unable to call for help, compounding his already unenviable situation.
In this respect, the Cybertruck owner should consider himself lucky.
Going back to Inger’s situation, the first thing people wanted to know was whether he had run his truck’s battery to zero.
However, the Cybertruck owner responded, “It was fully charged.”
At this point, most people would be unhappy with Tesla or the Cybertruck; however, fellow Cybertruck owners say it's Inger’s fault he found himself in this situation.
A Cybertruck owner, Williams Ainsley, writes, “Why didn’t you leave a door open? Shaking my head.”
I personally see this as victim blaming; however, please let me know what you think in the comments.
Going back to Inger’s case, so far, we’ve seen multiple Cybertruck owners who have faced catastrophic failures and most of these people end their statements claiming “they still love the truck.”
For example, a Cybertruck owner who snapped his rear subframe in half after he ran into a pothole says, “This is the most amazing truck ever.”
However, Inger appears to have had it with his truck. Responding to a group member who suggested possible ways he could get his Cybertruck to wake up, Inger responds, “Had it towed. What a pain.”
Overall, it’s surprising to see Cybertruck owners who have paid over $100,000 for their vehicles dealing with so many failures. Please let me know what should be done in the comments. Better to be locked out of…
Better to be locked out of the truck, than to be locked inside on a hot day. At least he was smart and got out of the truck. Would never own a vehicle that makes decisions on its own. I have had to make several quick decisions while driving, throughout my life. Once, I drove under a moose. It would have deadly to hit him. And the icy road would not allow quick moves right or left and change lanes. Electric cars are run by computers. Computers are smart yet have no Common Sense!!
Cybertruck owners are idiot…
Cybertruck owners are idiot cult members. If a CT exploded and killed all their children they say the kids shouldn't hVe been playing in the driveway.
Elon Musk is a genius, there…
Elon Musk is a genius, there is no denying that. It could be argued that he is the Edison or Da Vinci of our time. Having said that Tesla vehicles are crap. I wouldnt take one if i was paid to drive one. I live in North Dakota and getting locked iut of your vehicle in the winter can be a life ending event. Every new article about things like this confirms Tesla on specific and electric vehicles in general are shitty vehicles, little more than unreliable toys for the rich.
This is the type of hubris…
This is the type of hubris engineers have. From the Titanic to the Cyber truck, they continue to fail considering that they are not perfect.

This is nuts....have all these folks lost their minds or have zero common sense? You should have left your door open?????? If I had spent that much money on a vehicle I sure as heck would expect it to run better....and to get better service.

Leave the door open? Of a dead truck, on a highway? So some clown can roar by and rip it off? These Tesla people are insane.
Why should you HAVE to leave…
Why should you HAVE to leave the door open on a 100k vehicle?? Giant ugly overpriced dumpster doppelganger crap- and their fans are just as undesirable
Only the kinds of idiots who…
Only the kinds of idiots who think the extremely overpriced monstrosity that is the cyber truck would be fanboy enough to actually "smh" and blame the owner for a vehicle that not only just died at full power, but then crashed it's software completely.
Not just victim blaming, but a perfect picture of what Tesla fanboys look like
Tesla owners are like cult…
Tesla owners are like cult members. You dare not talk badly about the "leader", or in this case, the "product". You will be victim shamed, and gas lit, until you begin thinking maybe it's all your fault, and you deserve what happened to you.
I think that owner of the Cybertruck got bricked, and locked out, should consider himself lucky. It could've caught fire, and the door locked themselves, and prevented him from exiting. I'm leery of any car without a manual key lock, and manually activated door handles. This electronic BS is just that.
That guy should have left…
That guy should have left that piece of junk cyber truck at the dealership. I constantly read them cyber trucks with nothing but problems. What a roach for $100,000.
Have y’all figured out yet…
Have y’all figured out yet that these trucks are a royal pain in the butt to have….this is why I will always drive a gas powered truck….ev’s are an expensive form of transportation…that still can not deliver on their promises….give me a gas powered vehicle any day, anytime….js

Should've never wasted your money on that piece of crap. See, you rich folks buy those big paperweights, just to have something to brag about. Now look at you. Should've bought a RAM if you wanted a powerful truck. Would've cost less than half of that garbage on the back of that tow truck.
Why people love that ugly…
Why people love that ugly piece of shit, with so many problems is beyond me!
Get rid of it and get a more…
Get rid of it and get a more reliable truck, it’s ridiculous that a vehicle that costs 100k+ has as many failures as the cybertruck. Tesla has been over promising what their vehicles can do for years and haven’t delivered
