Have you been thinking about getting your feet wet with your first EV purchase by stepping into what is becoming a deep pool of electric vehicles offered? If so, then now is the right time to buy your first EV with these 3 models recently recommended by Consumer Reports analysts who say that their prices have dropped significantly. Plus, video reviews of each of the models.
Your EV Future
It’s becoming increasingly difficult to ignore the probability that you will eventually buy your first EV in the near future. However, up till now, those EVs have been just as expensive and in many cases more-so than the popular traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles that you have been more comfortable with over the years.
But times change and so do people…and in this case, so do EVs.
According to a recent newsletter from Consumer Reports, the older models of EVs that once cost a hefty price are now being sold with steep discounts to make way for newer EV models that have more power, range, size, and panache than the first crop of older EVs.
Older Entry Model EV Price Changes
These three popular EV models that used to cost around $40,000 are now showing a price drop of roughly $5,000 or more: The Chevrolet Bolt, the Hyundai Kuna Electric, and the Leaf.
