Cybertruck Withstands Bullets

There has been a lot of debate on how much Tesla should advertise and, uniquely, Tesla has advertised for the Cybertruck by having it be driven around showing multiple bullet dents on the side of it.

The bullet dents represent what Elon Musk and most likely other people at Tesla did, which was unloading a Tommy Gun to the side of the Cybertruck to show that the bullets wouldn't make it through.

Elon Musk should have made a video of the Cybertruck having the bullets hit it, but regardless, it's hard to fake the dents on the side of the truck that very much look like bullet holes.

The Cybertruck has a 30x rolled stainless steel exoskeleton and this is one of the main benefits of the Cybertruck - that it has a very strong exoskeleton, which means, its frame will most likely last multiple decades.

It's important to note that the steel exoskeleton is bulletproof, however, the windows are not.

Elon talked in the past about the Cybertruck having post apocalyptic features, but it remains to be seen if Tesla will be able to offer any of these in order to make its November 30th release date.

Cybertruck Delivery Event

The Cybertruck delivery event will be an important event. It's been a couple of years since Tesla did one of these, and I'm sure Elon Musk is stressed out about the current economic conditions. The conditions of the economy are high interest rates, which means Tesla has to lower prices to make its cars more affordable.

I think the delivery event will be much like the Tesla Model S Plaid delivery event. Elon Musk will ride up to a stage in a Cybertruck and talk about it and its variants. He'll go over specs, pricing, and at the end, he will say, "and deliveries begin now."

Elon Musk has also said that it will be between 12 and 18 months for the Cybertruck to reach volume production and to be profitable. Any ramp of a vehicle is extremely difficult, however, Tesla has done it before many times and I believe they are up to the task and have hired smart engineers that will help them reach volume production.

What is volume production? It's when the manufacturing of a product has reached a sufficient mass quantity that the product can be produced at a low enough cost to make a profit.
